Saw Dr. Karim to re-establish primary care. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was also able to get my labs, vaccinations, imaging, and a referral to a specialist all efficiently.

The front desk here is so rude. This is the worst pamf site I have ever visited. They rescheduled my appointment couple hours before on the day without my confirmation. When I have arrived I just know they can reschedule whatever they want.

PAMF changed the code to Billing in 2024 and you have to pay a lot more out of the pocket if you need to do Labs, and customer service sucks...

My review goes to the people at the desk and the online platform.
I visit this clinic for OB/GYN care. Right from the beginning, I found it difficult to contact the department to schedule my initial appointment. Now, as an established patient in an advanced stage of pregnancy, it is impossible to communicate with the care team. There's no option to message the care team online and whenever I call the clinic requesting to speak with my care team, I'm repeatedly transferred between lines. Each call inevitably leads to a 20-30 minute wait time. Such a horrible experience

I am not given the same level of care as my brothers. The doctors here don't respect my culture and failed to treat my pneumonia or chronic back pain properly.

My primary care physician mocked me for living with my sick parents and assumed I could not afford x-rays and MRIs for my back despite the fact that I have Obamacare. She also made me feel as though I were mentally ill after I sought medical help for my PTSD without reviewing feedback from the care provider at the other hospital.

PAMF used to be good. I don't have complaints about the quality of doctors, but it seems as if the foundation has lost a lot of non-practitioner staff, is overbooked and funnels all interactions to an appointment. Used to be able to ask basic questions or appointment advice over the phone and get a PA callback. Nobody answers the phone now, you get directed to a central answering service, told to use the website, and get a generic reply through the website saying schedule an appointment. Interactions are often slow and bureaucratic. Specialist appointments 3+ months out. Doctors give referrals to people who are unavailable. Some people complain about overbilling or deceptive billing which doesn't surprise me.

I used to love PAMF. Then my old doctor retired and I got Dr. Jennifer Tran, the worst doctor I’ve ever had. She made me feel constantly judged and never seemed to take my needs seriously. I came away from every appointment with her feeling very uncomfortable. She refused to refill routine antidepressants without constant, expensive “check-ins” and also refused to refill a long standing prescription I had from my previous doctor. She is disrespectful to her patients and offers no worthwhile advice you couldn’t find with a quick Google search. In fact, she referred me to Google for several questions… enough said.

I wish I had better things to say.

The staff in the lab are absolutely inefficient. First they operate by appointment, then they allow walk ins and prioritize them ahead of someone who has an appointment (typically if they walk in is there at the same time as you, they should go after someone who CARED to make one), they don’t do the pre-paper work needed for ur appointment ahead of time, they make you wait ridiculous time even if there’s only 2-3 in the waiting room (again the time they take to do the paper work once you are already checked in).

It seems that people expect you to respect the “labs” time but that is no longer reciprocated.

Not to forget, the last blood work was incomplete and dr did not have all the tests that were ordered for (at the time of the draw, I was not informed of this).

Ridiculous !!

I wish other labs would just take over so we don’t have to deal with such mediocrity even though we are paying hundreds if not thousands through our insurance.
