I was referred to Vasily Salov at INT (Integrated Neuromuscular Therapy) by my chiropractor in Palo Alto, to treat intense pain in my lower back. Starting out my first visit, Vasily took careful note of my posture and movement and identified multiple areas that needed treatment in my hips and lower and middle back. After just the first session, I started to feel my lower back moving better. Vasily also recommended multiple daily exercises to strengthen my core and accelerate my recovery.

Professionally and personally, he is very experienced with high-level performance, injury, and recovery; this knowledge infuses his thoughtfulness in customizing therapy for each client. Vasily's treatment was an essential complement to the physical therapy exercises required for fully rehabilitating my repaired ACL and continuing my love for extreme skiing. I appreciated how he and my physical therapist occasionally worked as a team, sharing notes on which muscle groups and tendons or ligaments to exercise and which to target with massage therapy, in order to best promote the healing process for me. Reducing tension and inflammation in the surrounding tissues was critical to healing, re-strengthening, and supporting my knee successfully. Happily, my knee is now back to normal, and I'm having a great ski season. Scheduling with Vasily is easy whenever the occasional tune-up is needed to keep my knee flexible and happy. Thanks to Vasily's therapy, I'm still shredding snowy mountain sides with a smile all winter long!

I’ve seen Vasily for terrible shoulder pain. I’ve had steroid shots in the past and I just really wanted to see if there were other options. That is when I found Vasily at Integrated Neuromuscular Therapy. He really does work magic in the way that he manipulates my shoulder, my arm, my back, and my neck. Overtime, the pain has diminished greatly. I have also learned exercises that I can perform at home. They’re not your typical exercises either and I’m always amazed at how I can control my shoulder pain with my exercises. I’ve been seeing Visaly for shoulder and neck pain (most likely from neck forward posture) and also mid-thoracic pain from kyphosis and mild scoliosis. His treatments are right on target, he knows where to go, and how much pressure to apply. I feel pain free and am moving my head and neck more fluidly by the end of my session. After just a few months, the mid-thoracic pain from my kyphosis is gone and I feel more aligned!

Also, an important part of the treatment plan are the at home exercises, which Visaly gives on an easy to use app (I need). I notice that as long as I continue to do the exercises, I stay mostly pain free. The scheduling is also easy on the Jane app he uses. Visaly is the bodywork practitioner I have been praying for! I highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable, kind and my head and neck feel safe in his hands!
