I have Ledderhosen Disease also known as Plantar Fibromatosis. Dr Klein is the resident of expert on this condition in the Bay Area and does enzyme injections of Hyaluronidase and Shockwave therapy following the protocol that Dr. Davis from Texas has developed. I found Dr Klein on the Facebook group that Dr. Davis runs. I have seen good results with significant shrinkage and softening of the Fibroma Nodules and they no longer hurt when I walk run or play tennis. The injections are not covered by insurance (I have United Healthcare) and costs roughly $1200 per session of injection since I have both feet injected. And the typical protocol is 3 sessions two weeks apart. So total cost is $3600. If you have Fibromas, I would highly recommend seeing Dr Klein. Another podiatrist basically just put some divets in the very expensive orthotics he made and otherwise said to ignore the fibromas and the Fibromas grew and were more painful. If you have Ledderhosen Disease definitely check out the Facebook group and Dr. Davis even has a book you can get on kindle that goes in detail. Do not get surgery that some podiatrists recommend it will not help since the fibromas grow back. Check out the book and Facebook, there are horror stories about the surgery. Radiation therapy is also an option and is potentially covered by insurance but injections are probably a better first step prior to radiation which can be quite involved. For people in San Francisco, San Jose , Palo Alto with Plantar Fibromatosis good luck and come see Dr. Klein. For me it has been worth the cost.

Dr Klein helped me get past some debilitating plantar fasciitis and back to coaching my track team. For runners that are prone to this type of injury, you know how frustrating it can be - and so does Dr. Klein. He imaged my foot in his office on my first appointment and discussed several treatment options. I had a few treatment sessions over the winter and was back on the track in the spring.

I’ve gotten two or three pairs of orthotics from Dr. Klein over the years. He always looks at my gait again in my current shoes to see if it has changed. The orthotics have always worked well and lasted for several years.

I have never had to wait very long and his staff is great.

They must pay for their 5-star reviews, the fount office "Manager" is the most unprofessional person I have had the displeasure of speaking to. Scheduling the initial appointment with her was the first unpleasant experience. Continuing over to the day of our scheduled appointment. She provided false information regarding the insurance they accept and do not accept. I would suggest you train your "manager" on how to ask the proper questions and how to provide the appropriate information to your perspective patience. She would do well taking a customer service seminar as she is not welcoming or kind over the phone I could only imagine how she treats people in person!

I used to hike the dish trail 3-4 times a week and had to stop due to a debilitating heel pain. I went to see Dr. Klein. He listened patiently and methodically completed his assessment with all the tools in his office including a mobile ultrasound. I had severe plantar fasciitis, he recommended a three pronged approach for short term solution to get me back on my feet ASAP. I followed all the steps and was back on my feet within a month. For long term, he ordered shoe inserts which I received a couple of weeks ago. I broken them in and I am on my way to resume usual level of activity.

The worst place to go. I had a toenail injury, and he literally made my toenail as a Frankenstein monster and add nothing more than what was really not welcome place and the doctor is so angry and don’t care about your issue. Whatever he think is right in his mind, that is the right it doesn’t matter what you feel if you have a pain or not, it seems that he can go to the patient brain and evaluate his pain level. I would never recommend this place to No one.
