They should not be called an “urgent care.” In addition to incompetence they do not have any type of triage for patients actually needed “urgent care.” They also book “appointments” for people that clearly don’t need “urgent” care that get in the way of people that are actually sick.

Courteous staff. But DO NOT GO HERE! Misdiagnosed over the weekend and I have now been sick with a sinus infection for four days. Doctor did not even look in my ears or nose. Now they want a second visit and to bill my insurance TWICE. This is not acceptable patient care.

I’d like to share with the world my experience at this urgent care center.

Our probably 5th or so time going to this urgent care, I took my wife there because she wasn’t feeling great and was too tired to drive herself even the short distance to this urgent care. When we arrived we didn’t wait long before we were called back, they took vitals did a Covid test and everything seemed fine after the results came back positive. Afterwords they prescribed her 2-3 different things to the local pharmacy. Going to pick them up there was only one that the nearby pharmacy actually got prescribed. Sure, fine, I could let that go.

Fast forward to 8 days later when my wife was still in bed sick with Covid and none of the OTCs or the (one) prescribed medicine helped at all. She calls beforehand and tells them that she’s still not feeling any better so they make an appointment for 1300. We show up 5-10 minutes before and after they get through a few folks in line she’s checked in and take her right back. After about 20-30 minutes we thought it was a little odd no one had come in. At about 40 minutes after vitals were still sitting there and one of the nurses comes in to tell us the physician will be right with us. Mind you, my wife is profusely coughing up mucus, shallow and labored breathing, with a fever, and feeling absolutely awful. Finally at minute 50 she goes up to use the bathroom once again and I poke my head out and politely point out that we had an appointment at 1300 and that my wife is really sick and needs treatment.

Finally about 5 minutes later the PA comes in and does an exam of her in about 2 minutes, determines that she’s ok and recovering well and prescribes her a bunch of OTC stuff that we mostly have already at home and sends us off.

This was day 9 of her contracting covid and 2 days before she had tested negative for it but still had a consistent fever of 102 when not on NSAIDS. I knew something didn’t seem right so I took her over to CHOMP and didn’t bother with filling the prescriptions. After arriving at CHOMP, they (within 5 minutes) took her to get registered and ran an EKG. We sat in the waiting room for maybe 20-25 minutes before she was called back. They ran the work up on her, blood, urine, breathing treatment, X-rays, and CT scans. Following the works she was diagnosed with pneumonia!

The carelessness that we experienced at the mogo urgent care will not be happening again. Pneumonia is a very serious diagnosis that if missed can go from bad to worse very quickly. I didn’t trust the PA’s quick dismissal of my wife as a patient nor the seriousness with which he took my wife’s condition. I will not be making the mistake of trusting them again.

My recommendation to everyone is that if you must go to this urgent care for something minor then you might get what you need out of it, but for something that seems more serious I highly recommend getting a second opinion anywhere else. I can’t speak highly enough of the care and treatment we received at CHOMP. Now she’s taken care of and I can breathe a little easier knowing that she’s in good hands.

Drove to this urgent care from Hollister. Did not regret making the drive at all. The staff was absolutely fantastic and we were in & out in about 30 min. Amazing for a walk-in on a Saturday!

After having sutures removed from a deep finger wound they only applied some cream and bandaid. Bandaid was bloody shortly after and with no gauze for protection finger subject to pain every time it touched
Something. Also, nurse didn't seem to know how to deal with stitches that had been steri-stripped over the top then glued. Had to consult staff several times.

Warning, don’t go to this urgent care if you have a nose bleed. Only urgent care that doesn’t have nitrous sticks. This is NOT a true urgent care.

When Mogo first opened back in 2020, they were exceptional. I have been a few times for non emergency visits, but things I could not wait to see my regular doctor. In The last year it seems no matter if you have an appointment the wait time is very long. Sometimes they let you know that they’re behind because they only have 1 provider on duty. Why only 1 provider with a lobby full of people? I am waiting today for a visit to have something not done properly a week ago. What’s happening Montage?
