Went in for a body comp test. Bryson (I'm guessing, based on my receipt?) was very helpful and knowledgeable in regards to how to interpret it. He's got a very friendly, upbeat attitude all around and shared some solid nutrition and workout tips. Always a good visit and solid employees is what makes it that way.

Great atmosphere in the store with a large variety of selection. Luke greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed any help. I’m only in town for a month and if I need anymore supplements, I don’t mind driving the extra 15 mins just to shop here. Thanks for the great customer service Luke!

Shopped here before and received great help from the sales person. She made my wife and I sample protein shakes and even gave us advice on buying a car we've been wanting. Bought the protein she recommended and we're loving it....

Went in today for the Independence Day sale which promised 30% off on products purchased before 1pm. The ad, received by email, clearly reads, "does not include protein but, all non-sale protein powers will be 10% off all day" After the "30% Off" is an asterisk (*) so of course, there's small print. Read the small print at the bottom of the add (next to the asterisk) which reads "Not valid on cooler drinks, bars, any sale items, with VIP cards or any other offers".

I looked around the store and found lifting straps to purchase. While looking for my size, a sales person (not the one from my previous experience, although she was working) asked if I needed help. I told her I found the straps I was looking for and she immediately replied, "Those aren't included in the sale". Since the straps were obviously not protein, not a cooler drink, bar, and didn't appear to be on sale, I asked, "Why"? Instead of a helpful, knowledgeable answer, she replies, "Did you read the ad"? I explained I did in fact read the ad and even quoted the small print. She then explained the straps, Versa Gripps, are "considered sale items". Still interested in purchasing the straps I asked, "What's the sale price"? She then explains they're not on sale, they're regular price. To confirm I'm understanding this correctly I asked, "So the sale does not include on sale items, the Versa Gripps aren't on sale, however, they're not included in the sale because even though they're full price, they're on sale"? At this point, to any reasonable adult, this makes absolutely no sense. Instead of her getting clarification, maybe asking someone else or calling a manager, she answers, "Yes", and with signs of frustration, begins pointing out items in the store which are considered "non-sale" items, coincidentally all house brand items. Not wanting to continue the debate on what "on sale" means to the average customer, I left.

If a mistake was made on the ad, then simply say that. Maybe honor the price for the customer who walked in and email a new ad after. If you take the time to list excluded items in the ad, then include them all or write, "30% Off house brands only". It might also make sense to remove the items from the sales floor which you don't plan on including in the sale, all of which are acceptable. What's not acceptable is having a customer in your store on a holiday feeling like he just fell for a "bait and switch" and then having to deal with a rude sales person.
