Cool little snack shop that carries various Asian snacks. The selection is different than most other grocery stores that sell snacks.

There is also a small baked goods section.

Cute and fun place with lots to look at! You could easily get carried away buying things! Freezed dried candy, popping boba and fruit shaped ice cream!

Love Ponyo for its interesting snacks and pastries! They have a fruit cream mochi in the refrigerated case - delicious! The service is pretty non-existent, but everything else is great!

Detailed review of Ponyo:

If you're in Millbrae, make sure to put Ponyo on your to go-list! Ponyo has an amazing selection of Asian foods. From masubi, ramen, coconut pudding, probiotic drinks, sparkling waters, crackers, seafood snacks, chips, desserts, samplers (at the counter), and to the best part, trending snacks you would see all over social media!! One of the trending snacks are Melo Melo, but the newest item I've seen today (date of this review) at Ponyo, is the trending Tao Qi Peach ice cream (photo).

Though, one suggestion I would make for customers, is to bring your own bag, since the bags provided are cheaply made and have paper cut-like handles. My friends and passerby's also complained that the bag handles were too sharp and thought, oh, it's not just me. To the boss of Ponyo, as good service, please provide better bags for your customers. In addition, the place is a little cramped and warm, so strollers or wheelchairs would not fit well.

Overall, the snacks that Ponyo provides are good for people who are fans of something (e.g. Hello Kitty), have dietary restrictions like vegans (e.g. Melo Melo), and great when on dates. Come check it out!! ?

this place is so cute, nicest welcome as we walked in we wish them the best. this spot open last week so happy to have randomly stumble upon it after a much needed Peet's next door. so many yummy snacks and savory/sweet pastries

This place is so cute. Yummy snacks and treats. They have a wide variety of fun chip flavors and snacks from Asia. Pastries are delish. They even have Adobo and Sinigan flavored Chex mix. I'm definitely coming back.

We love Ponyo!! The crack nuts are to die for and the coffee drinks are too good. Just tried the curry potato pastry this morning and I loved it! All around great little spot 😀

Never been to LA, but always wanted to try Melo Melo? ... you might want to keep reading.

This new cute little snack store located in DT Millbrae carries a variety of curated artisan snacks and drinks. They also have a lot of goods from businesses all over California like Neighborhood Bakehouse, Mackbox Desserts, Batch 22 Bakery, MommyLAs, and all the way from LA - Melo Melo! If you didn't know, Melo Melo is a popular dessert spot in SoCal and they specialize in coconut pudding - not just any coconut pudding, but some of the softest and most fragrant pudding you'll have. Similar to Tong Sui in NorCal. Although it is on the pricier side (prices are a little inflated), I still highly recommend giving it a try! Not sure if it'll be on their shelves for long!

There were a lot of popular snacks that I've seen and haven't seen before. Definitely have to pay another visit to scout for new snacks and .. maybe buy all the Melo Melo off the shelves AHAHAHHA. You better go before I beat you to the fridge!
