I've lived in Morgan Hill since 2005. Was about time to get a local dentist so I came in as a new patient and did two cleanings. The hygienist was great. Recommended that I take my wisdom teeth out.

Even though my wisdom teeth are not bothering me at all, I have gotten mixed feedback in the past on whether or not to actually take them out. I'm always wary when a new dentist says they need to be taken out now.

But I say OK, I have heard this before so why not do it now if I need it. They schedule my next cleaning and tell me that a followup call to schedule the wisdom teeth extraction will be coming.
Well, I don't know if it ever did. Because instead I got dozens of calls per day for at least 6 months from dental insurance salesmen. When did I ever say I needed supplemental dental insurance? My phone was bombarded with so many of these calls I couldn't pick up any of my incoming calls for a long time.

So because of that, I'm going somewhere else. Huge inconvenience. I would not recommend this office.

I had an excellent experience and highly recommend Cochrane Plaza Dental Care for friends and families in my neighborhood. From check in to check out... top notch. The office is so stylish and clean. And the new technology - wow! Over 10 years of experience and it shows. I can't speak to any dental work for I was just in for an exam and cleaning, but when the time comes that I need work done, Cochrane Plaza Dental Care is the only place in town I will go. I took my daughter four years back for wisdom tooth extraction and they did excellent work. Recently, I took my son for same issue and they are professional at work providing excellent care and answering all my questions very knowledgeable team.

This place is awesome. I went in for three fillings as a new patient. I emailed them my X-rays from a former dentist that did my cleaning two days prior. The former dentist was kind of rough when performing my cleaning (they were in San Jose), and it felt like they were overcharging me on the fillings estimate. That’s what made me look for another dentist, which led me to here. This place has a very positive atmosphere. They did my three fillings, and the price was 50% less than the other dentist. This will be my go-to dentist in Morgan Hill. They are only 4 minutes from my job. The staff demonstrated exceptional levels of customer service.

I called in asking if they accept my insurance and they said they did. On the day of the arrival, I found out they didn't after some prodding. Luckily, they decided to cut the bill in half so I could get my teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, deciding to go with the appointment was a decision I sort of regretted after meeting the x-ray technician.

The x-ray technician repeatedly poked my healing ulcer on the left side of my mouth and loudly complained about not being able to stick the film in further until another person stepped in. I also watched the clock and it took her 25 minutes just to get my x-rays because she kept on messing up the shots. It could be possible that she was new or that she was having a bad day, but the impression she gave me played a major factor in my decision to not continue services with the in-house dental plan, despite the dentist being able to find two cavities that the previous dentist most likely missed.

Aside from that one individual, the rest of the dental team was friendly and professional. The dental hygienist William did a thorough job cleaning my teeth and Jaswinder Ghuman DDS found some cavities in the back tooth. Needless to say, I do not feel comfortable coming back to fill the cavity and will be finding another dentist to do the job.

I love this place! The entire staff is courteous and friendly. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. The office is clean and bright. The doctors took the time to explain what was going to happen each step of the way and made certain I was always comfortable. Tomorrow, I'll be making an appointment for my hubby!

It was the first time I’d been to Cochrane Dental (and the last time). Dr Toy was the one who told me he could remove my wisdom teeth before they’d erupt, he said it would be better to “get it out of the way before severe pain” which sounded suspicious.
I told him I had barley felt any tenderness in my mouth but he insisted it would be a smart decision, however he made it seem like there was no pressure in doing the procedure right away. It was completely up to me if I wanted to go into surgery for my wisdom teeth to be removed before they’ve erupted. After he finished my check up, the front receptionist RITA came up to me trying to pressure me into doing the procedure as soon as next week which I thought was very odd because I’ve never gotten any recommendation like this from my prior dentist. I told her I’d want to think about it longer and talk to my mom before making an appointment right away. She then told me that I was over the age of 18 and that I didn’t need my mother to make my appointments for me, which was not what I implied and very condescending of her to say. I’m 19 and I knew doing surgery on my mouth was gonna be expensive and my mother was going to ultimately help me out with the payment, which is obviously why I wanted her opinion before making my next appointment. She had very predatory behavior telling me I didn’t need my mother to make my decisions for me, (crazy) then charged my sister for a fill she’d gotten that was already taken care of by my mothers insurance from her last appointment, in which my mother WAS THERE. They saw us without our parent for the first time and took advantage of that, these people don’t care about our bodies and are MONEY HUNGRY.

Without thinking I pre paid for a next appointment to replace a filler that was broken and when I got home and told my mom she said we wouldn’t be going back there and to get a refund right away. I called 3 times to get a refund and the first 2 times I called they never got back to me like they said they would (they never would’ve if I didn’t stop harassing them for my refund), when I told them I was willing to go back there just to get my money they did a refund transaction over the phone which is what they should’ve done the first time.
The same thing happened to my sister after realizing they charged her for an “outstanding payment” that was already taken care of.
You guys are gross and my mother and I will be reporting you to the dental board. Predatory behavior talking young people into doing surgery, willing to harm people’s bodies just for money then overcharging them on top of that. Which you’ve clearly shown you guys are capable of doing. You shouldn't be working in dentistry at all you guys are scammers. ?

My doctor there at Cochran Plaza dental is Dr. Goodman.
She was the best today. She very precise and very detail on her work. I had two front teeth replaced by her. Dr. Goodman match my color perfectly . She took her time and made sure that it was 110% work. I recommend her to anyone that needs Dental work. She is awesome.
