I only lasted 3 sessions before leaving this practice. Mie is rude and mean and yelled at me because I wasn't following her forced directions. She accused me of being a bad mom. She shoved her religious beliefs down my throat and then told me I believed in baby murder because of my pro choice stance. Beyond unprofessional. She set me back a whole year and I didn't seek out therapy after her because it was such an awful experience I was scared. Awful awful experience.

Stay far away from this place. I used to bring my brother and he used to look forward to his sessions but on his last visit he showed up a little early and he overheard his counselor when her current patient mentioned feeling a mess she said oh don’t worry about it you’re doing fine you should see my patient that’s about to come in. You’re doing so fine compared to him. That discouraged him from ever going again and ever getting help in general so now I’m still struggling to find him a safe space to go to thanks to her making it such an unpleasant visit. She should have her license revoked. Words are forever.

Aurora Family Counseling center is one of the best organizations I have ever worked with. I am a single dad with 4 children all trying to do our best and make it through life's most challenging circumstances. I have seen several different therapists there over the years and each one was amazingly qualified and helpful. Aurora is the first place I recommend for families, adults and children of all ages. I have tried other locations nearby and none have come close. I highly recommend Aurora Family Counseling.

Tried to contact through military one source to get marriage counseling for my husband and I who are both active duty. Whoever answers their phones kept sending me to voicemail multiple days in a row and it would go to voicemails at different numbers of rings. Left multiple messages and no one got back to me. If you’re not accepting new people you could of at least let us know instead of us waiting around. Will be finding a different counselor.

Where can I start with Cathy Glassner? We met for my first session on my birthday this year. It took me our whole first session to answer one question. The same question Cathy always starts our sessions with. “How are you?” Needless to say I felt a mess. Cathy has been nothing but patient with me, and kind. She has also given me hard truths when I needed to hear them. She is there as support, guidance and an even just a person to vent to when I need her. I truly feel she cares more than I ever would have thought. I consider myself lucky having stumbled upon the Aurora Family Counseling Center and Cathy. While I feel I have made substantial growth in these past months, and I plan to continue to meet with her as long as I can. Wish I could give more than 5 stars both her and the center they are worth it.

Lady who calls back regarding voicemails is very rude. Gives no answers I am multiple states away and she stonewalled me could barely get the reason out as to why I was calling it was clear she felt she had more important things to do. She called me at 12:36PM 4/22 so whoever is working those hours should be evaluated on their job performance.

I have anger management class a womens
group.. with Anna
she is such a nice lady hopefully I can go to her in the future .
because I have anxiety and I have went to numerous therapist for it ..
they didn't really care.
she seems like she's very caring but I am going to her for Anger Management she does A

If I’m being honest I don’t like this staff they just blocked me and didn’t even tell me why I can’t attend their counseling services anymore I never got in any fights with them or anything just really confusing on why I a 15 year old have more maturity than them but I did rlly love my therapist she was great just every one else
