I had an appointment two weeks ago then the the receptionist called me to reschedule because my RA doctor was not going to be there. So they reschedule for Oct 16 at 3:30 pm. When I called to confirmed my appointment for the day, the receptionist said that my appointment was at 12;30 not 3:30. I work to pay my insurance and I can't afford to missed days at work. Course the front desk don't care.

This is the most backwards and unorganized medical facility I have ever been to! First of all I had an appointment with a family physician for about 60 days because that was the quickest I could get in. When I arrived for the appointment I was told the Dr was on vacation. Someone was supposed to have called me and rescheduled but they did admit there was no record of anyone doing that. They were able to schedule me within a week to see a CNP which I did and she ordered some blood work. Now I have to make an appointment to get my lab results. Really?! So I’m here for my lab results from blood work that was done 7 days ago. My CNP comes in, opens my chart on the desk top and asks when did I have the blood work done as there are no results. I tell her a week ago and she says they are not there, she’ll have them faxed over. As she leaves the room she says “I’ll be right back”. 30 minutes later she returns and asks if she can call me with the results, they are unable to send them over! A phone appt was all I wanted to begin with! Does Bio Family not have any kind of technology? Any medical facility I have ever been to has the technology to access my complete medical records from any of their clinics as well as the patient is able to access their own records on a patient portal. So I’m leaving the clinic now to wait for the CNP to call me.
Also, my boyfriend had a 4 week check back scheduled with Dr Fazil. The day before his appt the office called to reschedule as Dr Fazil was going to be out of town. They could reschedule in 2 months!! We reminded them this was a check back appt that was due so they suggested he come in as a walk-in and wait to be seen by whoever was available!! Seriously?! So he does the walk-in thing and was referred to a pulmonologist. After seeing the pulmonologist twice he was told he needs an EKG but that Dr couldn’t order it because he’s not a cardiologist. What the heck… really?!
I like the practitioners I’ve seen it’s just behind the front desk that is the problem.

Unfortunately I cannot write a review because I can't get an appointment. I have called 3 times and left on hold each time. I would think that a good clinic would be better staffed.

Update: 07/02/2024---
The system at checkout has changed and it's so much faster. The office visits now is averaging 1 hour. Awesome job guys!!!
From 2 to 4 stars well earned.
Thank you!

The new office is very nice and clean. X-rays , lab and EKG are within the facility.
The doctors and nurses are awesome, however, the wait is a minimum of 1 hour to see the doctor, then when you have been seeing you must seat and wait another hour at least to schedule another appointment and wait until you're called. The system at checkout is not efficient and it's so frustrating.
The doctors are typing the orders for referrals and prescriptions as you are seeing him/her, so why does the front office takes so long to check you out? You should be able to walk up and finish the paperwork or appointments and leave like any other medical offices.
I have to give myself a minimum of 3.5 hours every time I have an appointment there.
If the office can not handle the number of current patients they already have why keep accepting new patients?
I love my doctors, nurses and the location, but no so much the process I have to go through every time ?.

Love the new building!! They have a spacious waiting room with great ac and water for this yuma heat. The front desk service is amazing, fast and attentive. I’m glad they got the upgrade they deserved. Dr. Fazil is my doctor and he’s always the best. Great place!

I was told to come in as they take walk in appointments. I was in and out quickly which was great. The provider was kind and caring. Then I followed up two weeks later as I was still experiencing symptoms. I was never contacted regarding my previous labs. I was told the lab work that was collected was in the wrong container and that it needed to be recollected. I was then confronted by the provider and told that I was fine and that they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have a PCP. The provider told me they aren’t an urgent care, which I understand but why did they see me twice and bill my insurance twice if they had no intentions of following through or helping me?
As I said my initial encounter was great and the nurse from the second encounter was fantastic but the rest was disconcerting.

I do not recommend this place! Your health could get worse waiting for inept staff to do their job right. This clinic is bottom of the barrel and a hot mess. Extremely disorganized, incompetent, and unprofessional. They expect extremely ill patients like myself to make a 45 minute round trip to a lab to pick up an ultrasound report, because they just don't care to fix or replace a simple fax machine which has been out of service for at least a week. They gave me a referral to the wrong doctor, so I wanted to discuss this matter with the cardiologist's MA, but she refused to talk to me. I sent many messages, but she never called me back. And, when I asked to speak to a manager, receptionist Ortencia told me manager was in a meeting, that she doesn't have a voicemail, and decided to just hang up on me. Needless to say, I won't be back!
