I can not say how grateful our family is that Dr. Goodman came into our lives. My son and I instantly felt comfortable with her. She is an amazing, compassionate person. Our family life is more peaceful and my son has a renewed confidence. She has a wealth of knowledge to share and you can tell she enjoys what she does. Dr. Goodman has been a tremendous help for our son. We were concerned after our son refused to talk to his preschool teacher for more than 9 months (not a single word). We reached out to Dr. Goodman. She evaluated him and he regularly attends Simply Psychology social skills group classes. He has opened up in kindergarten, talks to his teacher now, and has made many close friends already. Getting help early from Dr. Goodman, when many other doctors were recommending speech therapy (which he did not need), has made a huge beneficial difference in his young life.

Dr. Alicia is amazing. We were seeking a specialist in selective mutism for my son, who was only 3 at the time. She is the best in the state and has extensive training on selective mutism interventions. She truly understands anxiety and attention disorders and identified my son as gifted, which we later confirmed through testing at school. I am so grateful we found her when we did and that she helped my son overcome his challenges. He still attends a social skills group with peers, which is excellent and he loves attending.

I can't express enough how much my CBIT therapy sessions with Dr. Goodman have changed my life. By literally the third session, I had gone from having a debilitating tic disorder (which was so bad it completely hindered my ability to read, with at times having a tic every few seconds of my waking day) to them being almost non-existent.

The best part is that Dr. Goodman really teaches you how to do the therapy yourself, in case that any new tics or problems arise long after your therapy sessions have ended. It has been 6 months since my last appointment and I still apply daily the skills and techniques I learned from these sessions. I am so thankful for my therapy with Dr. Goodman - it literally changed my life.

I've developed a new tic in the past couple of weeks. After noticing it, I was able to go through the therapy steps entirely myself, to the point where now it's not gone, but I feel its well under control and heading in that direction
