Dr Fjerstad does NOT respect his patients. My neighbor warned me he was no good and she was right. He was supposed to go over my x-rays with me but said he already looked at them and there's nothing wrong. Not to mention I was the one who asked for the x-rays. He stated a few times he didn't want to do much and said there wasn't anything I could do about my collapsed arch. He only offered solutions after I asked for options to fix the problem and not just wear insoles for the rest of my life. He said "they'll be like glasses" What a joke of a doctor.

No integrity. Very unprofessional. I asked if my orthotics could be repaired. After a three month wait I called to see if they were in. I was told yes they have been sitting in the office for awhile. No one ever called. When I went to pick them up I was told $70. I said my co-pay is $20. I was told to talk to the office manager. I then phoned Ellen the office manager. I asked if we might work something out for my orthotics. She didn't even hear me ask that! She just started in about how I asked for them to be fixed so I need to pay. I said I wasn't told insurance wouldn't pay. She said it is not her job to know what insurance will pay and what they won't. I said that she has been doing this for so long that I thought she would know. She hung up on me. I called back a few times before she would answer. I told her that I was willing to compromise, but I don't think I should pay $70 for used, when I can get new for $20!! She then said that there are no insurance companies that pay for repairs other than workmans comp. this is after her statement of it isn't her job to know what insurance will pay. She said she would talk with the doctor and call back. She never did. They still have my orthotics! I'm really shocked at the extremely poor patient service.
