When I searched for coffee shops in Paso Robles one of the first things to catch my attention was the red half door at AMSTRDM Coffee house. Naturally, and pretty typical of me, I became preoccupied with sitting in a lounge chair sipping a cortado at the shop. As we walked down the street towards AMSTRDM I caught glimpse of the large red pane windows open wide and allowing the coastal breeze flow into the shop. I giddily made my way to the shop with a really good feeling about it. Walking up to the coffee counter I caught glimpse of the inside of a piano gloriously displayed on the counter wall. AMSTRDM is a beautiful coffee house made perfect for travelers, folks visiting with one another, remote workers and people want to sit, relax and enjoy the setting.

Here is the best part, the baristas were amazingly kind. They also made a pretty tasty cortado; which was exactly why I was there.

Great coffee place, very cozy and chill. Very friendly staff. Dog and baby friendly too. Bathrooms have changing tables and they were able to sell me milk for my baby. Coffee drinks are tasty and well made.

This place is awesome! It’s open and airy. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. It appears that many locals pop in to grab their coffee or a burrito. I met Corey, I think he’s the owner, either way he was very service oriented and helpful. Even recommending another location for me to try out for a sit down breakfast.

This is the best cafe in town! Clean and comfortable space with friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend the Amstrdm Breakfast sando with croissant. the pastry is light and flaky, layered with tender eggs and avocado. Definitely ask for their famous homemade fermented hot sauce!

this place was absolutely adorable with beautiful natural lighting from swung open windows. it was cozy, with wood floors and sofas for reading and tables clustered close for chatting or studying. salted caramel latte was quite good. food offerings were good but overpriced for the size. service was lovely. if I lived here I would come back often. 🙂

Delicious little coffee shop, from the coffee to the matcha to the pastries. The chocolate croissant I had was absolutely delectable. Everything was perfectly flavored and balanced. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Would definitely come back when passing through Paso Robles!

Excellent coffee shop with some of the best coffee I have tasted in a long time. They also know how to make a Cortado and serve coffees in real coffee cups, not paper or plastic.
Amazingly friendly staff. Good prices.

I got a salted Carmel latte. The lady was so sweet and said they make the syrup in house. Seriously so yummy! She walked it to my comfy chair and made sure it was how I like it. Such a cute little place!
