In February 2024 I was introduced to the dental office of Virginia Mattson DMD.
I am so happy that I was referred to this office.
My treatment plan has been exceptional.
The support staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
I recommend this dental office to anyone looking for quality work with great staff.

Dr. Mattson and her whole staff was amazing. Got me scheduled quickly to get a filling fixed before my trip. The dentist is not my favorite place but they were so gentle and understanding. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming environment. Very friendly and professional staff. I was treated as a valued patient and feel as if they truly care about my health and treatment plan and not just as a paycheck like another office I had to part ways with after a terrible experience recently. I highly recommend this office if you’re in need of extensive work like me.

Well, my old review was very positive. I go in for appointments every 6 months, and things had been going well for the most part. I like the people and service at this office. However, my most recent experience was very disheartening. A year ago, I was told that I might need a bridge replaced. At my appointment 6 months ago, the dentist did not follow up on this issue at all. It was not checked or discussed in any capacity, leading me to believe it was no longer an issue and the bridge did not need to be replaced. I realize now I should not have assumed, but they had written the issue down in my chart and I thought they would be on top of it. At my appointment yesterday, I was told that not only do I need to remove the bridge, but that it has gotten so bad that extra work or implants will be needed, at a cost of $3500 to $7500, which I cannot afford. I count on my dental provider to stay on top of issues they have identified, and to have work done when it is needed. I really feel let down. I asked why we didn't address the issue when it was first identified a year ago, and why no one checked it or followed up when I came in 6 months ago. The dentist and the staff were very nice to me, and I heard phrases like "maybe we should have addressed it sooner", "we did not know it was going to get this bad ", and "I'm not sure why we didn't monitor it during your last appointment". Apologies are nice, but I don't think they are taking responsibility and again, I trusted them to stay on top of this. I am the one who suffers the financial consequences, and I have a lot of medical issues. My body is very sensitive and I don't heal well from heavy dental work. The options I have now will be much tougher on my body than simply replacing the bridge. I'm just extremely disappointed and I expected more from them.

I have been seeing the Mattson’s for all of my dental needs for about 20 years, so this review is long overdue! Dr. Mattson is kind, caring and highly competent. Getting my teeth cleaned by Steve is always fun too. He’s got a great personality. Cel, at the front desk, is also extremely helpful. Highly recommend.
