Stop any surgery by Dr, Armen Hagopjanian. He replaced my ankle and since than I can't even walk around the block or stand on my feet. He broke my bone and didn't even fix it by installing screw to medial malleolus regardless of the braking or not for safety. He denied the fracture and than he had no idea or clue what the next place will be. This was the second surgery he had done and I end up to fire him and go to see a real ortho surgeon. He is a podiatrist and doesn't understand how to calculate and replace ankle without braking the other bones. He said that is very normal for bone to brake during surgery. After second opinion I was told that is not correct if he was carful and read the implant brochure warning about possible fractures and nerve damage. My tendon is not functioning and panful after surgery. FDA recall the implant he used with 30 risk of failure "Series h3 Hintermann.

Dr, Armen never showed us the correct implant model he was going to install till after surgery. He never mentioned I would never have motion like used too till after surgery. During exam after two X-Rays shows fracture and nonunion fracture healing, he was asking me why you are mentioning fracture?.

He never read my previous MRIs and note from my previous surgery to see how obvious my talas doom had a fracture and I had be a lot more carful to not making it worse. Instead he recommended to do aggressive therapy and activities. Even as joke when I asked him about any restriction?. he replied just "don't drink and drive". All other professionals after many opinion told me he missed the real diagnosis and there was other options available other than ankle replacement. During one of the visits after surgery he twisted my ankle so severely to prove his point and that put me on the bed and bear wait for another 3 weeks which I told him he was very mean during last visit. HMO also covers the best ortho surgeons which Armen Hagopjanina is not. Don't fall for the few videos from patients he added to his website. God knows how many more like me after 9 months end up loosing their ability to walk and go for additional surgeries. The implant he uses is not fully approved by FDA and he did not tell us about it. It's from Australia and not made by U.S. Maybe is Chinese made device. Stay a way from this doctor office and save yourself. Even one star is too much for him.

If I could put 10/5 I would, great stuff including all nurses, medical assistants, billers and especially Dr Hagopjanian. They always answer your phone calls within office hours and I have been in their office for 6 weeks for my pre and postop and they are very professional, lovely , kind and respectful. Dr Hagopjanian did my surgery, and I had 0 complications. Thanks to all of them for making this hard time less scary.

This doctor was very compassionate, knows his craft and has the best bedside manner I have seen in years. He does not just rush you into surgery but rather waits to see if you will heal, as I did. He listens, explains and takes his time. You never feel rushed in his office. The office staff are as nice and friendly as can be. If you injure your foot, go to THIS doctor.

Dr. H, is the best foot and ankle surgeon in the country! After many flawed surgeries, from an orthopedist, I sought out a specialist in Foot and Ankle surgery after a severe accident that shattered bones in my leg ankle and foot.

He is not only extremely skillful at his profession, he's compassionate, caring and pays the upmost attention to detail.

His knowledge and experience, is unbelievable. His skills kept me from either being wheelchair-bound are depending on crutches for the rest of my life.

I owe so much to him, I will never be able to repay him for what he was able to do for me as a surgeon.
