Bruce is amazing! Honestly, I have had bad experiences with other auto zones not the staff but the corporation. But Bruce really brings a good name to the company. He goes above and beyond to help customers and is very knowledgeable. He gave me some tricks for using Cata clean And he also let me know the best place to take my car for a wash. Really cool guy! Great service and honestly one of the best AutoZone employees I’ve ever met. Thank you so much for today Bruce!!!!

On November 2, 2024 I was driving home to LA from San Diego with my son and daughter when I experienced car trouble. I pulled over called my brother and he suggested I drive to Auto Zone to get an additive for my transmission as it wasn’t getting 2nd gear. By the time i arrived at Auto Zone San Clemente the store was closed. It had closed about 20 minutes earlier. Luckily for me there was 2 employees that had stayed to chat after work and those 2 gentleman were of great help. They advised me not to continue driving as it could cause greater damage to the car and offered me to leave the car in the parking lot if i could get a ride home and they would make sure my car wouldn’t get towed. Due to circumstances out of my control my car had to stay there for weeks and the staff at Auto Zone store #3301 were just wonderful and very supportive and understanding to say the least. The store manager Jose has been a blessing just going above and beyond in his management role. I am forever grateful with all the amazing staff at this store. Would definitely recommend and go back anytime.

When A place or person goes above and beyond to make you feel like you chose the right place to buy something, get help or advice, this establishment is just that. Bruce is the man. Very knowledgeable and actually wants to help you with your questions about your car and products that will help the issue. Excellent service. You just don't find that very often these days.

Worst experience I have ever had at an AutoZone! First of all, this place if full of teenagers who do not have any experience in customer service. I came here to exchange my car led lights that I bought the previous night because they didn't work. I called prior to make sure they had the lights I wanted, they confirmed. When I got there they did not have them, I assume they didn't check. The parking lot was full of teenagers which the employees were hanging out with. It felt more like a hang out spot than an auto shop. The employee Maxwell, for some reason started a return asking for my credit card and ID. I was questioning why he was doing all of this if I was going to leave to a different store for the exchange. He input the information with assistance from another employee and said it was a suspicious transaction and they couldn't help me. I asked for my items back so I could go to another autozone for the exchange, since they didn't have my item. By the time I got to the next store (in a rush to make it there before closing), I was informed by the employee that the other guys at San Clemente called them and told them not to provide me service. Wasted time, wasted gas, wasted money. Completely unprofessional experience. DO NOT GO HERE

I was running errands when I felt something fall from above the pedals and hit my foot. (It turned out to be a piece of plastic that connected my brake pedal to the sensor.) When I got out of my car, I noticed that my brake lights were on - with nothing holding down the brake pedal. After fiddling with the brake pedal for a bit, calling a couple of friends, and almost calling roadside service, I watched a couple of YouTube videos that showed how to fix it - One guy used a bolt to reconnect the brake pedal to the sensor and another guy used a kit. With just a few minutes before closing time, I decided to see if anyone at AutoZone would know what I would need to buy to fix it. Enter Bruce. Unable to find a kit, he could have sent me on my way empty-handed. Instead, Bruce went above and beyond what I expected by grabbing a bolt(?) out of a drawer and, in about 5 minutes time, was able to fix the issue by reconnecting my brake pedal to the sensor - thereby saving me from a dead battery, blown light bulbs, a trip to my mechanic, and a possible accident due to faulty brake lights. The next time I have an issue with my car, I will stop by AutoZone and talk with Bruce before taking my car to my mechanic. THANK YOU, BRUCE!!!
