I have been a patient here over 25 yrs - before the name change.
I used to LOVE this place but now— it feels like my health isn’t a priority and getting a relationship with someone that knows and cares about ME seems gone. There is no more walk in or working you in. They want you to go to urgent care
I’ve had numerous things happen that had made me lose faith and comfort in this operation.
1- I needed vaccines for starting a course at college. While there I brought up about a lump in my chest. I already had a mammogram that was cleared as normal but this lump is hurting and is in between my breastbone. I asked Dr about it- as well as refilling my diabetic meds. I was told had to make separate appt and could not address either. I did as I left.
2- came to 2nd appt and mentioned this lump again. Dr said would set up an ultrasound. Asked about it as I was heaving. Was told someone would call me to schedule
3- two weeks later: I get a call to schedule a different procedure for something I don’t even recall was discussed and for a different area of my body. I ask about my chest again. I’m told there is no orders for that. I request they check the clinical notes. Obviously Dr failed to order it and dropped the ball. She checks- I’m correct. Notes are in there but Dr didn’t order. Employee says sending a message and will call me back once received
4- a week goes by. I have a vm from them about orders. I call- get transferred to a person who says they are busy with another client and said I needed to call back later today or tomorrow and asked if that was ok. I explain no it is not! I understand you’re with someone else but can someone else schedule me OR can she call me back. She asks me to hold on a sec- I go into automated survey and then get hung up on!!
5- I called back. Got someone in scheduling who says they have escalated to manager and someone would call me back
But not before was told Dr Phillips says has no recollection and I would have to come back in for follow up. So, a 3rd visit with more time spent and a 3rd co-pay and my insurance billed again WTH
This is utterly ridiculous!
At one time, this was a wonderful office ! - with a staff in which I knew everyone and had a relationship with and caring doctors who were dedicated to your well being and in making you feel like you were in good hands.
This seems all gone now. They have had massive turn over in the past few years.
Going the extra mile ( which to me is actually just common courtesy and good customer service) is a thing of the past!!
Things started changing over a decade ago when Dr Fortson left - several drs and NPs after him. Just when you start to feel they’ve got it together and things are getting better— ( Dr Williams was great proof of that. Loved her!- guess what— she left!) — it just gets worse

This has become a doc in a box operation that only cares how much money they can get from your insurance company. If you’re sick- they don’t want to see you they tell you to go to urgent care. If you make an appointment for being sick- it takes so long to get in since they don’t do walk ins anymore that you’re no longer sick or you’ll be dead anyway and it won’t matter

I appreciate Aylo Health and especially this office so much. Every time one of our family members has needed to be seen (recently that’s been 3 out of 4 of us getting sick!) they have been so accommodating, especially to get us seen quickly, efficiently and with a smile and kind words. All the staff we’ve encountered from the reception, nurses, nurse practitioner and doctors over the years and especially these past few weeks have been simply wonderful. We feel seen and in good care for our needs. ♥️

The staff at Aylo health are TOP notch. Tascia at the front desk is very friendly and efficient at the Hampton location. The service I am provided keep me returning! It feels more like a fam8ly visit than a doctor's appointment.

I was saying here on December 31st which was a scheduled appointment. Much to my surprise, when I got the bill last week I was charged $75 because it was a weekend/holiday visit. Is this how we make money? There was nothing on the app that said, if you schedule an appointment with us on this day, even though we're open, you will be charged an extra $75. I think that is a bit messed up because you need to put everything up front. Had I known I would have went somewhere else that didn't charge me that ridiculous fee.

My husband and I had annual wellness appointments on 11/30 at which time blood was drawn for a multitude of routine tests. Our results came back 12/03 and other than me calling and asking about one of my tests, no one ever reached out to discuss our results. We each got calls (after I called and questioned it) to come pick up our fecal test kits, so Naturally we thought that although some results were a little out of range, everything was okay. Well fast forward to today (12/30) my husband gets a call informing him that on 12/29 he was referred to a urologist because his PSA was elevated. 27 days later and we are just getting notified that he needs to see a specialist. As a medical care worker myself, I understand and expect the referral process to take a while, but not the notification process. If it is important enough that he needs to see a specialist, then it should have been important enough for them to notifiy us sooner than 27 days later. And to add insult to injury, when we asked why it took so long for them to notify us, her response was "well it's been on there" umm did I miss the fine print that says we draw the labs but the patient reads them for themselves.....unacceptable and very unprofessional. Never again will we go for anything requiring routine or critical labs.

Courteous and knowledgeable staff who represent Aylo very well.
From scheduling an appointment to end went well, no complaints. Waiting time was also very fast and the environment was very clean.
