Let me first off start by saying that this is THE BEST PODIATRIST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!

Doctor Shengshengs office and staff are by far the most professional, informative, and knowledgeable doctors office I’ve been to. In short, I was looking for a podiatrist to help me figure out why my foot pain had become unbearable. I went in the office, checked in, and Doctor Sheng asked me to remove my shoe and sock when I was in the room. He examined my foot while asking questions about what was going on as well as making meaningful conversation with me. He asked what I did for a living, and I told him that I was a chef and general manager. He asked what the pain was like and how long have I been experiencing it. When the pain the happens, if it was all the time or here and there. He asked if i was currently experiencing pain and I said yes. He asked me to describe what it was like. He did so in such a genuine manner that I was taken aback on how he examined my foot and how interactive and perceptive he was. He made me feel heard and didn’t deny me my pain. We took an X-ray in his office( as a former USAG Acrobatic National team member who had all the bells and whistles at their disposal when it came to injuries, the X-ray he took showed him first hand what was going on. I had a GNARLY tailors bunion. I’ve never been the type to self diagnose myself but in the back of my mind, I knew it was a bunion. The doctor not only confirmed it, but also wanted to do an X-ray right then and there. I never felt more heard and appreciated from a doctor, let alone from a doctor that didn’t tell me “come back in 3 weeks and I’ll see how you’re doing”
He was thorough and was eager in a sense that I was his patient. (Not to throw shade at my old foot doctors but Dr Shengsheng by far is the best foot doctor I’ve been to and I’m a former Olympic athlete)
fast forward to the day of my surgery, Dr Shengshengs bedside manner is the best I’ve ever experienced. (I’ve been under 6 times in my life) surgery was quick and most of all the recovery was much smoother than my previous foot surgery from 10 years ago. Doctor went over everything prior to the surgery and went over it again the day of. Fastforward to my follow up appointment, I didn’t really get a chance to look at my foot as it was bandaged. But when Doctor Shengsheng took it off, i was beyond surprised at the major difference between my foot before and after surgery. Last time my foot looked normal was about 11-12 years prior before. The before and after is night and day. I tried not to get emotional because I hadn’t seen my foot look normal in a long time. And let me tell you about my foot pain. It’s gone. For the first time, I don’t have a burning, aching and cramped feeling in my foot. A lot of it was due to me standing on the outside of my foot and compensating for over 10 years. Even now, as I type this, I don’t feel any pressure on my foot. I don’t feel pain and I actually look forward to being outdoors and being active again without havin to worry about being sore or in pain the next day. Anyone who needs a GREAT podiatrist, Dr Shengsheng is the doctor to go to. And if he recommends surgery, don’t be hesitate! Doctor Shengsheng is by far one of the best podiatrist and surgeon I’ve come across and I’ve had 4 surgery’s on my feet.

This doctor is an expert. The prices are good. I broke my foot, and Dr. Guan did my surgery and told me exactly how long it would take for me to heal. He was right on the nose. I enjoy the doctor’s personality. Excellent service.

Dr. Guan is helping me treat a very stubborn 10 year old plantar wart on my foot that I was unable to get rid of with over the counter remedies. I am very happy with the progress we are making and my foot should be plantar wart free soon!

Dr. Guan and his team are very friendly and professional. They truly care about the best possible outcome for their patients. I am very happy to work with a podiatrist that cares about 1) the quality of the treatments and how they benefit my wellbeing (e.g., advising on treatments that would have the best long-term outcome for a full recovery) and 2) cares about the financial impact of the treatment options to the patient and is willing to work with them on a treatment plan that is cost effective.

I started seeing Dr. Guan for my plantar fasciitis after my wife had very positive experiences with her foot treatments. Dr. Guan explained my different treatment options with corresponding costs as well as offering his professional opinion. Based on his recommendations, I am close to fully healed and pain free (just one more PRP to go!). I would recommend Dr. Guan and his practice to anyone!

Customer service is so rude. I called to make an appointment and the lady on the phone was being passive aggressive. I asked about the type of shockwave they have available and she said «  I thought you were asking about shockwave arent we on the same page ». I explained to her that there are 2 types. She then said « I will transfer you to the medical assistant »
I was on hold for 10 minutes, the medical assistant ended the call. Did not call back or anything.
They do not know how to handle customers. Throughout the call there was no « thank you for your patience, I apologize for the wait »
It is such a shame to have customer service reps like this!

I’ve seen several podiatrists in the area and Dr Guan and his office over the last year have been the most helpful and strong in customer service. He did a multi pronged approach to solution years of pain in my foot. I now have freedom from pain while hiking and am able to move around in basic activity pain free. Thank you Dr Guan and staff.

Back in 2023 I saw Dr Guan for plantar fascitis, and flat feet. It turns out that I had a bone spur on my right ankle and both of my ankles needed were not in very good condition. A few surgeries later along with custom insoles, both my ankles are doing much better. Thank you Dr Guan for your amazing work.
