While visiting Paso Robles CA. I visited a cheese maker Black Market Cheese Company. They offered tasting and tours of the farm. They had some of the best cheeses that I have tasted in a while. Made from sheep and goats milk from their own flocks on the farm. With some of the most flavorful, creamy and unique flavors of cheeses. A must taste and visit If you’re in central California. I almost forgot they also sell eggs and whole chicken.

We used Black Market Cheese for our winery pick up party. We have nothing but rave reviews for them, from start to finish. Communication prior to the party was easy and all questions were asked. They modified the individual charcuterie for us due to allergy concerns. Delivery was right on time and our customers loved the product! Recommend highly.

We had a wonderful time at Black Market Cheese Co., a small farmstead creamery located in the beautiful Paso Robles wine region. The owners, Evan and Kristy, were very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us a tour of their farm and cheese-shop. We got to see their flock of dairy sheep and goats, and taste their delicious artisan cheeses. They have a variety of flavors, from mild and creamy to sharp and tangy,There is not way to pick a favorite, they are all MUST HAVES. The cheese flights were WONDERFUL, everything was fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend visiting Black Market Cheese Co. if you are looking for a unique and memorable experience in Paso Robles. It’s a cheese lover’s paradise!

Beautiful day at Black Market Cheese Co.! Kristy, the owner, was on hand to tell us all about the artisan cheeses made on site from her goats. We enjoyed the panoramic views of vineyards while drinking wines and tasting cheeses under the olive trees. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Evan and Kristy were such nice hosts on our tour and cheese tasting. The tasting area is thoughtfully designed.
This is a great activity for kids who like animals. We got to visit with lots of sheep (my daughter’s favorite), goats, chickens and turkeys and met the sheepdog. Evan answered a ton of sheep questions for us. The cheese was delicious! I highly recommend coming here without hesitation!

Great cheese tasting experience. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed it. You can bring your own wine. There are beautiful views from the tables outside. The hosts gave a detailed and entertaining tour of the barn, including sheep, goats, and chickens. Items available for sale include cheese from the tasting, as well as local olive oil, honey, and various lavender products. Restrooms are available and clean.
