I've always been a skeptic of services like Physical Therapy, but Cadence Physical Therapy and Wellness is amazing. As an endurance athlete, Charlie really took the time to get to know me, my running goals, my race schedule and even asked about my nutrition plan. His format allows him to spend more time with patients and treat with whatever method is going to be most effective. Appointments were not rushed, and he took time to thoroughly examine my injury and explain the treatment and exercises. When not in the appointment, Charlie followed up with me to find out how things were going with my training and recovery. I would recommend Cadence to anyone!

Charlie has been my Wellness Coach for several years. My original goals were to workout at the gym on a regular basis and lose weight with eating healthy foods. Charlie created a personalized plan just for me! We worked together on a fitness routine I can use at my local gym. Charlie also assisted me in creating a daily menu of eating whole foods. I first lost 60 lbs and through this summer, lost another 22 lbs through a slim down challenge event Charlie hosted. I also have built up endurance to run 30 minutes in my gym workout as well as using free weights and machines.
I have ran many local 5K races and I am getting ready with Charlie's assistance to run another 5K this fall and to train to run a half marathon race this coming spring!!!
I would have never thought I could have accomplished my goals but Charlie is so hands on that he just wills you to your personal best!!! I highly recommend Charlie for all the services he offers: physical therapy, wellness and endurance coaching. You have contact with Charlie on a regular basis for tips, ideas, and support online and one hour face to face sessions. Contact Charlie through the Cadence website to set up your appointment and get started on your journey to great health and wellness!

I've been working with Charlie to rehab after a severe ankle sprain and I appreciate his expertise while considering my race goals. I have known Charlie for a number of years as a member of the triathlon community and the FIrst Wave Triathlon Club. I like to use health professionals such as Charlie who are themselves active in the sport because they have a much deeper understanding of what you are going through when you get injured. They also understand the psyche of the triathlete as they try to continue to train through injury, and thus are more equipped to know what to tell us when it is important to modify or stop what we are doing.

Charlie is very knowledgeable in his craft, and he couples that with a genuinely caring heart and a great desire to help you heal. He spends the time to get to know the whole story surrounding your state of health and is by far the best healthcare professional I have ever known in terms of following-up with you after treatment. He also is tech-savvy in that he uses some very good apps that help you understand the PT exercises he wants you to do, which you can always go back and refer to if you forget what they are or how to do them. I hope you will entrust Charlie with your physical therapy care as I have...you will be glad you did!

Charlie is incredibly caring about you, your goals, and overall fitness. He has helped my family increase their race times dramatically and has helped me and my wife on numerous injuries. Highly highly highly recommend for anyone who wants realistic fitness goals and someone who is only a message away at all times.

Charlie was very detailed in describing to me my injury. He was able to give me more information then the orthopedic practitioner did.
He completed a through exam and listened to all my questions and descriptions of how it happened.
I felt very comfortable talking with him and appreciate that I have his contact information if I have additional questions.
I would definitely recommend this place to others. The environment was nice, clean, and well organized. Other staff were very friendly and dusplayed greetings as we left the facility.

Charlie was able to diagnose my shoulder pain in one session. He gave me exercises and within a couple weeks I was healed. So different from going to Physical therapy session for weeks. This is the second time he cured a long time injury seeing me only once. I always recommend him to friends with injuries.

I have used Charlie at Cadence for both physical therapy and coaching services for several months now. I specifically waited for some results to give a fair review. Short version: I am very pleased with both services and would reccomend Charlie to any athelete looking to improve (in a variety of ways). Longer version below.

I am a runner that has had some bad injury issues over the last several years. I've had several surgeries and been through multiple bouts of typical PT. I was led to Charlie based on a personal reccomendation because I was having knee trouble. As other reviewers have commented, Charlie took a long and thorough review of my history and goals, and I never felt rushed. He also tested my strength, flexibility, and recorded me running on the treadmill for analysis. He designed a specific PT plan that I could do at home, without having to constantly come in and be bled dry with co-pays (my old PT routines cost hundreds more dollars even after insurance). The routine was simple, came with instructional videos, and was taregted right at my weaknesses.

I also decided, on the spot, to take a chance and use his coaching services. Without his help, I would not have known what the appropriate pressure and mileage was to overcome my injury. I would have either pushed it too much or stopped even cross training out of frustration. Within a few weeks, I was able to completely recover from the knee pain and rebuild mileage. He was even able to guide me to some better information on nutrition as it relates to performance. And now recently, just a few months later, I was able to smash my 5k PR by several minutes. I'd say so far this has been a great success.
