I called every dentist place for an emergency extraction and Canyon Hills Dentalwas the ONLY Dental office that took me in the same day.Dr. Tuttle took me in and I came in with a completely decayed broken tooth, i ignored it act like i was okay for months to the point I was coughing up blood and bleeding from my nose. I had a sinus infection and my eye was in pain I had a fever the whole week I had no choice but to get it pulled. She cared for me, treated my fever with antibiotics and ibuprofen, provided me oxygen because I was lightheaded and not feeling good because I had a sinus infection in my tooth.She mad sure she wasn’t hurting me when she did any injection she was kind and professional and smart and caring. Exactly what you need in a doctor. She provided me antibiotics as soon as I left, I genuinely thank her and her team for caring about me. If I’d recommended any Dental Clinic, go to Canyon Hills Dental they will take care of you.

I typically dread dental appointments, but Canyon Lake Dental is a godsend because I have zero anxiety during appointments. I am incredibly happy with Dr. Tuttle and her staff. Dr. Tuttle & her husband CJ are more concerned about your insurance money and offer you services you don't need! She also pushes Botox every visit. I paid for services because Dr. Tuttle said I must have root canals even though my teeth are not hurting me.
I went for a second opinion and the dentist said that my teeth were fine!

During the summer, I had planned a vacation. But, the day before my plane flight, I got a severe toothache. My dentist was on vacation. So I found Canyon Lake Dental and asked if they took emergencies. They did. I went in immediately, and these ladies were very efficient. They not only extracted my tooth, but injected my own blood into the cavity where the tooth was, and within two days upon my arrival in Cleveland, Ohio, it was healing faster than I thought. I want to thank them for their compassion and ability to help myself and my wife have a pleasant visit in Ohio.

This is the first time I have ever given a one star review. However, I feel people should know about this place. I'm not sure if they will try to report this to keep their 5 stars. You can also look at "Canyon Lake Dental Office: Delia Tuttle D.D.S." for more honest reviews.

Long story short: This place will lie to get more money from you. I have physical evidence of this. They will make you feel insecure and pressure you to get work done that you do NOT need.

Dr. Tuttle will try to gain your trust with her knowledge but she uses it to get more money from you. She will say you have a severe gum issue when you do NOT in order to charge you for a deep cleaning you do not need. She will say you need root canals when you need NONE. She will make medical assumptions and diagnosis about you immediately upon meeting you even though she does not have a medical degree in order to try to make you feel insecure and try to gain trust. Her team will pressure you into doing treatment "right away" so that you don't seek another opinion AND they will overcharge you. Her receptionist may also try to charge you for things that are covered by your insurance.

Thankfully, I felt something wasn't right after coming a couple of times and went to a much further away dentist that I trusted for a second opinion (all you have to do is request your X-rays and being your quoted plan breakdown). That dentist looked at the X-ray's that Canyon Lake Dental Office took and examined my teeth. They confirmed I did NOT need ANY root canals or crowns and my gums were healthy! They confirmed that I would only need deep cleaning of the gums at my age if I had severe hygiene issues which I do not. It was completely obviously to the hygienist I also saw that my gums were healthy. She said for someone to say otherwise was clearly unethical.

Please get a second opinion before agreeing to any work done here. They were going to charge me triple what the honest dentist was going to charge and they were only going to do a deep cleaning I didn't need and work on 3 teeth! If I didn't get a second opinion, they would have hurt us financially and do unnecessary aggressive work on my teeth, causing me unnecessary pain.

UPDATE: If you knew the dentist I saw, I can 100% guarantee you would not recommend I see another dentist for a 3rd opinion 🙂 Thank you for your kindness in reply though. I appreciate it.

Dr. Tuttle, is caring and more than a DDS.
