I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Ketki Nichal for dental care in Carmel Plaza Dental, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service and professionalism of both the doctor and the entire team. From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted warmly by Neda, who made me feel comfortable and at ease.
Dr. Ketki Nichal took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, answered all my questions, and ensured that I was fully informed about my options. The treatment itself was painless, and the results were outstanding.
The team members Maryam and Neda are friendly, attentive, and highly skilled, making this visit a pleasant experience. The office is clean, and well-equipped, which made me feel confident that I was receiving top-notch care.
I highly recommend Dr. Ketki Nichal and the whole team to anyone seeking excellent dental care. Thank you for making every visit a positive experience!

The dentist is the only one getting a star from me. This place has the most disorganized office staff I've ever experienced. Sure, they're friendly which is nice to an extent. But that doesn't overlook how poor their scheduling, communication, and recordkeeping skills are. I filled out the new patient forms every visit thus far (3x) because they always lose the forms. They booked me twice for a cleaning while the dental hygienist was out. They asked me to reschedule the first time, then the dentist cleaned my teeth the second time. It wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't request for me to go to my ortho to take the braces off, making my dental cleaning appts take literally a whole day. I'm not even going in to the dental assistants' attitudes during my visits... My experience was so bad, I decided to switch dentists. I've called and emailed to cancel my appointment, yet they still call/text to confirm my appointment. If you value organized staff who know what they're doing, don't come here.

Pam (RDA) got my teeth 4 shades lighter with an in-office treatment so I am pleased with the results after a 20 min bleaching followed by another 15 session. My teeth are not white but they look much less yellow. My kids also got their braces here and Dr Hardy is great. The pricing for braces is fair and affordable compared to other offices and they have a lot of dental assistants to do the brace adjustments, under the orthodontist’s supervision and guidance.

So, there I was on the late Friday afternoon , minding my own business when my front tooth veneer decided to take a break – literally! My regular dental clinic was closed, leaving me in a bit of a pickle. I found this new dental clinic and they accepted me right away, despite being busy with other patients.

The doctor “Ketki Nichal” and staff were nothing short of superheroes. The doc took one look at my broken veneer, whipped out her magical dental tools, and gave it a temporary fix until I could see my regular dentist. And the best part? The charge was so minimal that I almost asked if they had made a mistake!

If you ever find yourself in a dental jam, this is the place to go. They’ll save your smile and maybe even make you laugh while doing it. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a new front bridge installed by Dr Igor Lantsberg and it came out like my original front teeth, I wore a partial plate for 23 years and a bridge for 38 years and the bridge came apart in February and I decided to have it replaced and it exceeded my expectations by more than I could imagine. Dr Lantsberg is the finest dentist I ever worked with and I’m 81 years old. I would also like to mention his dental assistant Pam, she was marvelous!!

I've gone to Carmel Dental Plaza for many years and wanted to compliment the office and ownership for the great experience I had this morning. The moment I walked in the door, Neda, the receptionist, greeted me and we talked about my insurance. She was so informative and cheerful, a wonderful first impression. You can tell my hygienist, Bach, has a lot of experience and is very good at her craft. She's friendly, does a great job explaining what's going on, and does the cleaning efficiently without making a mess of your face. Pam took an impression of my upper teeth and she also did a great job. She has a lot of experience and knows how to take the impression without causing you to feel like you're choking and with no discomfort! Last but certainly not least, Dr. Nichal. She is the best! Knows what she's doing and really cares about taking care of your teeth and giving you information to keep them healthy. I highly recommend them!!

Our visit to Carmel Plaza Detnal was a total waste of time and left us deeply disappointed. Despite explicitly stating that I am seven weeks pregnant and expressing my concerns about undergoing an x-ray, the staff aggressively pushed for the procedure. This disregard for patient safety and insensitivity to my condition was deeply troubling.

Additionally, my daughter, who had an x-ray just six months ago, was inexplicably required to undergo the procedure again for a basic cleaning. It seems like unnecessary and potentially harmful practices are standard procedure at this clinic.

What's more frustrating is the lack of consistency in communication. After informing them of my pregnancy over the phone and being assured that no x-ray would be necessary, we arrived for our appointment only to be kept waiting for an hour and then informed that an x-ray was indeed required. This blatant disregard for our time and well-being is unacceptable.
BTW, they do take walk-ins, so appointment is a joke.
Update:
I checked guidelines as to how frequently x-rays should be taken by American Dental Association (ADA): Children between one and five years of age should only have x-rays every 12 to 24 months unless dental concerns warrant it sooner. Children between six to 12 years of age and adolescents should have x-rays taken every 12 to 36 months. My daughter had x-ray taken 6 months ago, but they said they have to take re-take it for basic cleaning!!

My experience at the Carmel Plaza Dental office was great! Pam (RDA) did an excellent job fitting my temporary crown and it stayed on until the permanent crown was ready! 😊 She was extremely professional, caring, and pleasant. The dentist was amazing as well, along with the friendly front desk personnel!!
