The office is irresponsible. They will not update you on a copay until a month to 3 months later. I was charged in 2 different chunks in January and then they charged in again today when I haven't seen them since jan. If you did NOT catch something on your end. That is your fault for not paying attention. Do not cause more stress and debt on people you aren't even seeing anymore. Shame on you. Find and office more responsible. One that won't say "hey turns out you had to pay a copay all this time" then they charge you for November, December, and January. Absolutely shameful. Greedy.

UPDATE: This office has enough time to respond to a bad review in less than 30 minutes. Yet they have others in the reviews that waited days, weeks, and even months for help. But since it's about money, of course they respond instantly. Absolutely unbelievable. The dedication you have to money over your own patients is amazing.
PROSPECTING PATIENTS: Read all reviews before going. I did not and now I regret it dearly. I would have never called them if I read the reviews first.
I also came here for a EMDR, but it never happened. I'm worse now mentally, than I was when I started with them.

My grandfather was hospitalized and I was in denial that he was ever going to come out. For 3 months, I had false hope thinking "he'll make it.. he'll come out". My grandfather passed away and was the first family member I had lost in life, and I've always been uncomfortable and confused when dealing with loss, let alone death. The counselors at Central Counseling Services really helped me work through my grief and helped me learn how to process it. Without them, I'm not sure if I would have been ok. I might not have processed it or even accepted it as quickly as I did. I owe a great deal to Central Counseling and the counselors there. The staff is wonderful and the facility is filled with love an care.

It is extremely hard to get a hold of anybody here. We haven’t even had our first session yet and I reached out for services in November! Scheduled a virtual session with Chris about 2 weeks out due to the holidays. the day of our appointment we were canceled because Chris was not feeling well which was understandable but it took about a week to get a hold of anyone to get a new appointment scheduled.
Once I got someone to reschedule they said Mondays only so we scheduled out another two weeks. the date of our appointment no one ever called or emailed! I tried reaching out to the office to see if maybe he was running late or if we needed to reschedule and again unable to get a hold of anyone. I’ve called and left voice messages multiple times and they don’t even return your calls. I had a court order (Central Counseling had been made aware of this initially) from mid November to get my daughter at least to counseling sessions before the new year and here i am now 6 days into the year and have not had a single session.

My daughter loved this counseling office due to the therapy poodles! Stacey went out of her way to be sure that Walter the blind poodle was at the Murrieta office for each of my daughter's appointments. My girl was a tough nut to crack, but the poodles and the staff's persistent good nature toward her, allowed her to make progress when none could be made else where.

The therapist named Jennifer was rude to me, I requested another therapist and then was given Kourtney and while Kourtney was nice to an extent, she invalidated my concerns with my child, trying to pass off her behavioral issues as “normal”, compared her children to mine and wouldn’t allow me in the room with her during sessions with my child because she “had to ask her if it was okay” that I was in there after SHE was the one who suggested my child would open up if I was a part of the session. She ended up telling me it was no use taking my child to her due to her not opening up, so I stopped taking her here. At one point, I needed a letter from Kourtney regarding my child attending therapy and Kourtney refused to write one for me because she “hadn’t seen” my child “in a long time”. Then a year later, I took my child to a different therapist and she was diagnosed with PTSD and Reactive Attachment Disorder! Thanks for nothing Kourtney and learn some manners Jennifer! Don’t take your child here!
