No transparency with what patients are actually told and what doctor documents about patient. When I called the front desk over concern for how my doctor acted in my first appointment back seeing him, I was told doctor "dosnt like to go off topic" when I questioned the bizar diagnosing he some how came up with. With this said, if what he had on me was true I wouldnt be a fully functioning adult that I am! This was dehuminizing, most definitly insulting, and belittling as i am a strong independent women. I overcame a lot keeps, steady jobs, has a career, college level education, payed my own sports car off, and has single handledly built a life fore herself.

The doctor also kept on dismissing the fact, which seemed to be on purpose, that I was engaged had a Fiancé by calling him my "boyfriend" he clearly was not happy for me. He even rolled his eyes at me...This is also the same doctor that put me on medication that made me gain 30lbs and lied to me about it until after I got off it started loosing the wight.

I was also lied to by the front desk today where they most definitly told me the "doctors dont do the diagnosis". I actually had to explain to her how I knew that wasnt true because the doctor most litterally told me after I said the diagnosis sounded odd and I could not relate, he said "i'll be the one to determin that." Oh yes, he also tried to say I was on every medication he ever prescribed over the years all at one time which was kinda psycho. If that was true I would probably need an EKG every month to make sure my heart wouldn't stop. WORST PLACE EVER DONT GO HERE.

Really disappointed with the services here on 3 separate appointments have come in early and waited 45 minutes and still not been called back. The front desk staff have always been amazing but the rest of the staff is another story. Look elsewhere if your genuinely looking for services this isn't the place to go to get actual help.

This place must not be what it used to when it got 5 stars a couple years ago. As said before, if you can....go elsewhere. Very difficult time getting appointments, and some of the staff are ridiculously unprofessional. A therapist, who sent me into an anxiety attack, literally said, "I'm so sorry, I was trained not to do that."
So......yeah. If you are needing serious help, look elsewhere. I went to write this review a month ago, and was promised once again that things would get on track. I figure if they did, my comments weren't necessary. As they rarely return voicemail, another appointment never happened. I have previously just gone to the office to set them, but after doing so on several occasions over the last couple months, I was just done. I really tried until it was to the point where they were just causing more grief than they ever helped.
I now have three separate appointments with somewhere else in town that actually seems competent. I was told by the office manager at CCS that they kept "dropping the ball" on me. If you are reading this and having an issue with them, it's likely that you're stuck in the same loop. LOOK ELSEWHERE. I really hope this helps someone.

If you are in a situation where you can afford to do so, I recommend going somewhere else. Perhaps outside of Ridgecrest.

Most of the staff are great and care about their clients. I also appreciate a lot of the work they do for the community and the accessibility of their services.

I have also found some significant areas for improvement, mostly centered around individuals who probably shouldn't be dealing with mental health. If this is what is available to you, I say give it a try and you will probably benefit, but keep an eye out for if you are truly benefiting. If you have a child who goes here, advocate for them and make sure they see someone who is competent enough for the issues you are facing.

It really depends on what you are dealing with and who you end up seeing. Don't be afraid to ask for a different provider if you need to!

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. Super disorganized and unfortunately it works the way the rest of the town does. They pick and choose who they help.... if they actually even help anyone at all... The psychiatrists could probably have a pretty big lawsuit on their hands. They prescribe heavy duty medicine but don’t want to be on top of appointments and refills? It’s a pretty dangerous sketchy situation to put yourself in. I think this place is probably where people go to get court papers signed off or something...it’s not a legitimate place for you or your family to get help. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. You are way better off traveling to Bakersfield or Lancaster if you are interested in actually going somewhere that benefits you.

You guys have told like 5 times you will call me back and you won’t. I have even walked in and asked someone to call me to schedule something, and I still haven’t gotten a call back and it’s been like two weeks. I would like to say meaner things, but I don’t won’t. I find that extremely rude of this place.

Better than many but in need of a registered nurse or an experienced psych tech to keep track of meds and refills. Anyone with SMI should NEVER run out of meds and then scramble for refills.

Former employee. Worst job ever. They don't care about their clients, are very rude to clients and staff. Most clients leave feeling worse than when they entered. Clinicians don't follow through with appointments.
