Dr. Curry made me feel safe from the first visit I had with her. She listens to everything I say and has given me great insight of my issues. She's been very helpful with tools and advice to further progress in my therapy. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs therapy.

This psychologist has no business working with patients in the field of psychotherapy. She has no people skills. She is rude, abrasive, and condescending with prospective clients over the telephone, before she even meets them.
I found out my mom, age 80 with dementia, had to drive 60 minutes round-trip for her appointment with Dr. Curry. I told my mother that was too far.
My mother called Dr. Curry to postpone the appointment--as Dr. Curry had told my mom that the first appointment was only to fill out paperwork, which my mother requested be sent to her to fill out.
(Dr. Curry had apparently planned to bill for that paperwork "therapy" session.) Dr. Curry put my mom through the wringer, scolding my mom harshly, telling her to find another therapist.
No wonder this therapist has so few stars.
My mom mentioned that she sounded like an angry person. What my mother needs is a patient, understanding therapist, who can help the elderly deal/cope with memory-loss issues coupled with resulting anxiety. This one seemingly does not have those qualities.

I went to Dr. Curry hoping to get help and guidance coping with a trauma in my life. She quickly turned adversarial towards me when I questioned the snap judgements she was making about me. She got frustrated and threw information back at me that I had shared with her earlier with disparaging characterizations towards me. She seemed to have no interest in laboring through any professionally informed work that would give me tools for coping with my situation. It was all fast opinions and judgements. I had assumed a therapists office would be a safe and compassionate space but I left her office feeling worse than when I came in.

I initially saw Dr Curry because she was referred by my insurance. I stayed because she helped me through a lot. I started seeing her when I was in nursing school. The pressure of balancing school, work and mom life was about to blow! She didn’t alway say things I wanted to hear. However, I didn’t go to therapy to pay for someone just to agree with me. I appreciate her input and really listening to my issues.

I came to Dr Curry for help with some pretty important personal issues, and she was nothing if not dismissive and off-putting. Didn't consider any of my thoughts as valid, or so it seemed. I'm sure she works great with some people who fit into neat little boxes, but not do with me.

Dr. Curry, it’s time to reconsider. I know u r trying but working with people w trauma is not your strength. You helped me to get out of dysfunctional relationship - w you. This the second star. You and us deserve better.

Not helpful. Not knowledgeable. She is just to collect money. Doesn't have compassion or the minimum knowledge to help someone or advise properly. Dont go w her. You might as well chat to your dog, you will get a better answer
