I was recommended to Dr. Haupt when I needed surgery on a broken fibula in late 2022. It had been a long process for me with many delays before I arrived at his office. Thankfully, he was very understanding of my situation and got me into surgery that same week. Everything went extremely smooth and I was up and walking again within weeks. I've had no problems and I'm so happy with the results.

All of my office visits were quick, efficient, and smooth. My experience was great and I'd highly recommend Dr. Haupt to anyone in need of his expertise!

Dr Haupt is awesome. He listens, explains, and customizes your treatment based on your needs. Great doctor! Highly recommend him for any foot issue you may have. Echoing other reviews, dealing with his office staff can be challenging.

Dr. Haupt performed my ORIF surgery to my ankle at St. Joseph Hospital on an emergency basis 7 weeks ago. I’m told everything looks great and I am on track. However, there are issues with his office! I have had to argue with his front desk with regard to co-pay amounts and it’s still not resolved after 3 after care visits. Trying to get a hold of anyone at either of his offices is quite difficult but especially the Anaheim office. You will mostly get the “answering service” and then your call is never returned. One of his nurses is nice and professional but you can barely understand a word she says due to an extreme accent. I even had a friend with me and we were both looking at each other wondering what she just said. I don’t feel like I am clear on all information as to the steps to my recovery (how long will I need to wear a boot, had to ask if I have to sleep in the boot, etc.). I made it clear that I am experiencing a lot of pain to my knee and back due to having to be on a knee scooter, walker, cast, boot but no help was offered. I feel like I’m getting the bare minimum of care. Yesterday I was told to start physical therapy next week but not provided any information as to where to go except to stay in network so I called my primary doctor and was told the ankle surgeon’s office should be getting the authorization. I was told by another podiatrist that co-pays should be zero and all aftercare is included in surgery billing. Dealing with his office is a nightmare and if you can avoid it, go somewhere else.

Took my mother for a toe infection. Dr. Haupt seemed good, but after problems revealed it took his staff 3WEEKS to submit a referral to vascular Dr. I called 4 times to have Dr Haupt call me. He never did.

I want to echo the other reviewers and say that the front office staff is extremely rude. They act as though you have inconvenienced them with your presence and have more concern over their Starbucks order than the patients in the waiting room. They overcharged me on my co-pay and would not acknowledge that they made a mistake. Plus the procedure that Dr. Haupt performed did not fix my problem and the pain is the same as before I went to see the doctor. What a waste of time and money.

Dr. Haupt and his staff are top-notch. Dr. Haupt is incredibly knowledgeable supported by his thoughtful approach to patient care. Tennis is hard on the feet and Dr. Haupt keeps me out on the court.
