I havent been to the dentist in a few years due to some trauma i experienced with my last one. This place has changed my mind completely on what an experience at the dentist was supposed to be like. I had a deep clean done and compared to my last dentist it felt (almost) painless. All of the staff here are so kind and best of all great at their jobs! 10/10 recommend giving them a try.

I wasn’t even looking for a new dentist when I found Dr. Julee Weidner and Dental Care Of Mesa and I’m so thankful I did! A path I was on to find help with my TMJ disorder led me to this office. Although Dr. Weidner is NOT a TMJ Dental Specialist, she has the ability and knowledge to help treat me. Her staff is so professional and friendly! Annamerie is the office manager and during my first visit there, she took me into her office to discuss the treatment plan. Her office is very cool…… it’s a completely glass enclosed “fish bowl” just behind the reception desk! It gives someone like me with dental anxiety the feeling of openness and calm! Angela is the insurance/billing specialist and worked with my insurance in advance to make sure everything went smoothly and that I knew exactly what my portion would be. AND they take Care Credit for easy financing which was so important to me. Cassi is the hygienist and she did a thorough first exam on me that showed my teeth grinding had cracked 2 fillings. I wasn’t due for my cleaning yet, but now that this is my new go-to dentist, I look forward to that soon. The dental assistants, Dulcina and Hilary, worked with me on 2 separate visits and both are super kind! At the first visit, after meeting everyone and being examined, Dr. Weidner patiently explained what her plan for me was and answered all of my questions. They would first replace my 2 broken fillings and get a night guard made for me. They use something called an Itero Scanner that takes literally hundreds of pictures of the teeth and mouth. The scanner takes the place of that awful material that is used for making impressions. You know the stuff…… it tastes awful and you have to sit there until it hardens in your mouth! Yuck! The scanner replaces all of that for making night guards, crowns, Invisalign Braces and the like!! The images are then sent right then and there to the lab for creation. Dulcina answered questions and explained it all while she was scanning my mouth which only took several minutes! One week later, I had my night guard! Unfortunately for me, the first night guard didn’t work for me. The lab offers warranties that allow their office to return the appliance and have them make a different kind. At this time, I have now had 4 visits to Dental Care Of Mesa and feel so welcomed every time I come in. The replacing of the fillings was painless and, again, they are pros with patients with dental anxiety! Sometimes when you’re not even looking for something, the perfect thing comes along and that’s how I feel about Dr. Julee Weidner and her entire staff! The sign on their front door says it all: “Come in! We are awesome”!!
