Deren stepped into my life by the recommendation of another therapist and it truly felt like a blessing. I did family therapy with him and with his expertise and knowledge I was able to reunite with my family. If you want someone with experience, understanding, a good working knowledge of family dynamics and counseling. I would highly recommend Deren to any family or person. Mr. Deren is one of the best Therapist. You will feel welcome, judge free, and very very supported. I was so against Therapy or even counseling because of my previous traumas from the past and thanks to this therapist my life changed for the better. i don’t know what’s wrong with this guy.
i try to be professional and communicate with him in a respectful manner but i don’t get that respect in return. it’s like he already is taking sides before i ever met him in person. i ask him for receipts for my therapy sessions with my son and doesn’t respond i try to reschedule my appointment in advance and he doesn’t respond till the last minute and then he turns around and tells my sons lawyer that i missed the appointment. like cmon he knows how delicate this situation is for all parties involved. how did he get his license to help families out. it’s sad because in the beginning he’s saying he’s not about breaking up families but he’s doing the total opposite. since going to therapy i feel my son is more distant from me. i thought we could trust him but i don’t know what else to do.
i wasted my money on this therapy when deran always talk about his family and ex wife. of how pretty and younger she is. cmon man we ain’t here for that. he really should be looked into with his job. in reality since he’s always talking about his wife and why she left him. i didn’t want to hurt his feelings but she left him because he’s old crippled and looks older than he is. she wanted a younger guy to keep up with her. she just used him for his money. and he can’t comprehend that. maybe that’s why he is how he is with the fathers in therapy. he’s not a man with dignity and respect.
i honestly feel bad for him. i think he needs therapy himself. he needs to be honest and fair
with everyone. be a real man with integrity and
hopefully one day he realizes all the damage he’s caused to families. before we even met he’s talking about how many times he talked to my ex wife about me. is that legal? like he judges me without knowing me. it’s sad that we stuck with someone who is not a good person for us. i feel like i already lost this battle without getting a fair chance.

Very long road and hard journey as a father who loves his son. Deren’s been amazing, he’s taken on a lot of issues in dealing with this case. He’s protected my sons and my relationship in a fair and balanced manner focusing on the child first. Out of all the potential situations that could have arisen or were forced into our situation, he’s remained calm, collected, just, Protective of my sons rights and stood by the truth instead of falling for the intimidation and legal harassment. The truth will remain and justice will prevail. Never give up on your children. Mr. Mikels is working hard for you to be with your loved ones and make sure they’re safe and sane.
