I thought that this place was good up until a few years ago. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and was told I would need orthotics for my shoes and that the insurance would cover it. Well the insurance refused to cover it and the next thing you know, I was slapped with an almost $400 bill for it. The doctor told me that since I was a good patient that they would cut the price in half, only to be told later on that this wouldn't happen. I was also told that I should buy a pair of Hoka shoes since they would be better for my foot and ankle issues. I spent $150 on a pair of those shoes, which ended up falling apart and having to be tossed in the trash in less than six months! So as far as the $400 bill went, the price stood, and I was told that I would have to pay the total amount. I asked them if I could break down the payments to $50 a month and was refused. The lady in billing said oh no, it would need to be much more than that. She agreed to take $150 every two weeks when I would get paid, then this never happened. Thet kept sending bills to the house and none of it was taken out of my checking account like they said. I had explained to the doctor that my family had been experiencing financial problems and had difficulty paying for the orthotics. They weren't very sensitive to my situation at all. In recent weeks, I have finally been able to resolve the bill, and going forward, I will NEVER go to this place again. I would rather limp around in pain rather than go through all of this again. The billing staff is absolutely horrendous. They will lie to you and play these silly games. So my advice is steer clear of this place or you will end up seriously regretting it like I have!!!

Staff and billing department do not communicate with each other.
I scheduled my initial consultation in April 2024 and I had a 40 dollar co-pay. I was seen by Dr Brower and I explained that my heals and bottom of my feet hurt on a daily basis. Within 10 minutes he came to the conclusion that I have Plantar Fasciitis and I would need custom orthotics. I told him that I'm not sure my insurance covers this. He said don't worry about that we don't do anything until we get approval first. He told me it could take at least 30 days for approval. So they scheduled me out two months to make sure it was covered. Two months later I come back to be fitted for my orthotics. I asked about the insurance portion and I was told that my insurance was good and it was all approved. 30 days later I go back in to get my new orthotics and off I went. Fast forward to present day 30 days later on September 26 I get a bill in the mail for 500 dollars. I was like this must be a mistake. I call the billing department that is not at their office and was told that my insurance (United Health Care) does not cover orthotics... I'm beyond frustrated at this point with Dr Brower's office for the lack of communication with the billing department and that between the two departments no one could tell me a head of time this was not a covered procedure. I would have chosen another path if I was told this information a head of time. Come on guys, get it together!

I love this office and the staff. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I have been a patient of Dr. Pfitzer for about six months now, and from the first day she made me feel comfortable, not judged, and she is informative. She definitely looks out for your best interest.

Very friendly atmosphere and very nice staff from the moment you walk in the door until you see the Dr. The Doctor explained everything in terms I could understand, I never felt rushed. She cares about her patients and has a great bed side manor. Just love her!! Dr. Pfitzer is very nice & helpful. Best Foot Dr. in the East & West Valley in my opinion! 🙂

We walked into the office and were greeted with a smile. Everyone was professional and friendly. The Doctor was great with my 16 year old son. She was patient and informative and had a fantastic bedside manner. She made my son feel comfortable and at ease. This was a fantastic experience from start to finish and it was pain free.

Dr. Pfitzer took the time to explain all of my options and was very personable. She also tries to help the patient save money on prescriptions. I really liked her and I am planning on working with her on my next step of my treatment.
