I was extremely pleased with the reception I received at Desert Foot And Ankle, PC! Dr. Sisto was very thorough, easy to relate to and very comprehensive and relaying his diagnosis and prognosis!! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a podiatrist!!

I have no issue with the practice or the doctors and how they treat patients, as the office is clean and everyone is very nice. I was seen by Dr. Sisto, and he is knowledgeable. I am extremely disappointed in the orthotics they sold me. I felt like they took advantage of me at a time when my foot was killing me, and I was desperate for relief. I told Dr. Sisto that I was already wearing orthotics, as I have very high arches in my feet. I even showed him the ones I had in my shoes. He basically told me they were no good, and the "custom orthotics" they sold would be far better. So, they measured my foot on a scanner, and nailed me for $498. In short, these "custom orthotics" I bought from them are garbage. They have no heel pad and are hard as a rock, so I can't even wear them without more heel pain. Now, they sit in a drawer. About 5 years ago I visited a podiatrist in Tucson when I lived down there, Desert Podiatric Medical Specialist, because I have recurring Plantar Fasciitis. They also recommended their "custom orthotics", for high arches. The difference is, they had them in their office based on shoe size, and a pair sold for $50. They are basically exactly the same as what Desert Foot and Ankle charged me $500 for, except the orthotics from Tucson have a small heel pad, and I wear them to this day. I hate being played for a sucker, and when a doctor does it to you when you are desperate for pain relief, it's a really low blow. I see it as a cheap way to pad their profits, so beware when they try to sell them to you. You are much better off buying orthotics on Amazon for $25 a pair. If they were $100, maybe I could see going "custom". $500 for these garbage orthotics is just a rip-off.

Dr Sisco was very knowledgeable and professional my visit took all of 15 minutes and resolve my problem with the bunion! Would definitely go back to him as well as Dr. Pipher!!

Dr. Pipher recently saw my wife Cathy about her broken ankle. He was very thorough and very thoughtful in his diagnosis and recommendations. Made sure we understood the physical limitations of use of the ankle as well as asked about pain levels. He is an excellent physician and we wish more were like him.

2:40 appointment with Dr. Pipher. At 4 pm was told still 3 patients "ahead" of me. Hot little waiting room, no water. Another patient asked if AC could be turned down. Receptionist said she didn't know and made no attempt to find out. This was my third and final try to see Dr Pipher in Fountain Hills; experienced the same frustration in Mesa; finally gave up and left.
