My mother had been having severe chronic abdominal pains that were also causing issues with her back. The pain was so severe that an ambulance would have to be called so that she could be seen immediately each time. With these pains, my mom would stay in the hospital at least 3 weeks with no real accurate explanation of why those pains were so severe and constant. A friend of mine who had been having other gastric issues spoke very highly of Dr. McCutchen and I decided to give her a try. Upon our first visit, I was a little skeptical because she seemed so young. But Dr. McCutchen was very personable, pleasant and professional. She clearly explained to my mother and myself her findings and diagnosis. After simply changing my mothers' diet and some of her medications, my mother has not had any more issues. Dr. McCutchen was such a blessing!

It was time to have my first colonoscopy and as a man, I was very reluctant. However, from the scheduling process to the procedure through my release, everything went smoothly, was handled professionally, and I could not be more pleased.

Dr. McCutchen put my fears at ease. Because I was a particularly nervous patient, she made sure that I was made to feel comfortable and that all of her staff was attentive.

Dr. McCutchen took time to explain my results that were given to me in color pictures and answered all of my questions. When I left her office, I felt very secure in choosing her practice for my first colonoscopy.

Dr. McCutchen exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend her for anyone needing this procedure.

My husband has had many health issues over the last few years. We saw Dr. McCutchen today and she immediately took steps to determine the main cause of my husband's gastric issues. He has other health concerns and we are seeing the necessary specialist for that.

Dr. McCutchen has been by Gastroenterologist for years now. I was hospitalized off and on for a month a few years back. I couldnt swallow. Swallowing anything felt like I was swallowing razor blades. I was also experiencing flu symptoms with fever so the hospital kept sending me home until my mother demanded for me to be admitted. Dr. McCutchen saved the day when she was able to separate the flu symptoms from the gastro issues. I was given nexium liquid and the pain finally started to go away. I had severe erosive esophagitis. I have since been diagnosed with eosiphilitic esophagitis (which I know I spelled wrong) by Dr. McCutchen and given options to relieve my symptoms so that I can eat/swallow without issue. She is a true life saver.

I have had nothing but issues dealing with AGA. My first visit with Dr. McCutcheon was a telehealth visit that lasted a total of four minutes. She prescribed me two medicines in that time and told me they should be ready in an hour. They weren’t. It took me about another two days to finally get the medicines because any time you call AGA you get voicemail and have to wait on someone to call you back, often times they don’t. I finally got one of the medicines but was told the other was no longer available so she prescribed something else. Once I finally got the two medicines I had no idea when to take what because I wasn’t given instruction and one of the medications wasn’t what Dr. Mcutcheon had talked to me about. I was also told however during that four minute telehealth call that she would be reaching out to me to set up a 30 day follow up and I figured we could discuss it then. Of course that follow up was never scheduled. I called and left a message. Didn’t hear back for a week. Called again and was finally able to talk to someone. I simply asked if she could have Dr. McCutcheon call in a refill of one of the medicines she prescribed a month ago that worked. I told her what it was by name and the dosage I was taking. She assured me she would get the Doctor to do that and call me back. I picked up the medicine today and it is the wrong medicine. Oh, and of course she never called me back.

Hello prospective donor. My mother Dorothy had a stroke on July 26th, 2018. My niece called 911 and explained to the dispatcher that she is having a stroke. The EMT in Lawrenceville, GA transported my mother to a non-stroke hospital 5 to 10 miles away from Gwinnett Medical Center which is a stroke hospital. The hospital that she was transported to was Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, GA. The hospital was not equipped to handle a stroke. Instead, they treated my mother for a GI bleed instead of evaluating my mother for a stroke. She was put under anesthesia to be evaluated for a GI bleed. Afterward, the medical team at Northeast Georgia Medical Center told us that my mother would be up immediately following the upper GI. We later found out that they had to induce a coma on my mother. My mother never regained full consciousness. As a result of her illness, we had to get a medical flight to transport my mom to a medical facility located in Dallas, Texas. Currently, my sister, father, and my niece are caring for my mother at home. The cost of taking care of my mother is very expensive. The money donated will help with the flight along with other day to day expenses associated with taking care of my mother. My father and sister desperately want to get back to North Carolina to be closer to family and friends for help and support. My dad's insurance will not cover a flight back to the east coast. Aja McCutchen was the doctor who literally killed my mother’s quality of life. She never checked her for a stroke. It was all about money. My mom was used for an experiment project since she was was elderly. Please be aware of this provider. Don’t trust her. She has has no respect for a human beings life.
