Dr. Jordan Shahnam is a wonderful and honest dentist! From X-ray pictures it looked like that on one tooth a filling had to be done and on the next tooth a full crown. Dr. Shahnam was very honest and told me that the one tooth had calcification deposits and didn’t need a filling. He also was able to do a conservative preparation for the crown and left one tooth wall intact which will benefit my tooth and nerves. He was very gentle and explained every step of the procedure.
I can highly recommend this dentist!
Also his office staff is very friendly and efficient!

Maribel is an awesome hygienist. Dr. Shahnam is up on the latest technologies and never pushes for cosmetic procedures. Bonus: office is 3 minutes from my house!

UPDATE: I'm still getting high-quality care at a fair price at CV Family Dental. I love the staff and always feel super comfortable in this office. Dr. Shahnam repaired my filling yesterday after a root canal. It took only 45 minutes even though he was concerned for making it perfect. I have a very high trust level with this practice.

An outstanding practice with a terrific team. I had dental hypersensitivity and needed three crowns replaced. Dr. Shahnam handled both in a timely fashion with ideal outcomes in both cases.
Very good at making appointments that work with my schedule. A very professional and super-talented dental office.

Dr. Shahnam is a wonderful dentist and I highly recommend him. All of his work on me has been top notch. He is the "no pain" doc even with shots and drilling, which I so appreciate. He has great bedside manner too. His staff is absolutely the best also!

I have had problems all of my adult life with my teeth. My family couldn't afford braces so I've dealt with crooked teeth, had many root canals etc. Dr. Shahnam worked with me to improve the color and shape of my front teeth. I had old caps on three of my front teeth and two of them had lost part of the enamel near the gum line. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make great looking temporary caps for those teeth, even making sure the color would work well with the rest of my teeth, while the permanent caps were made by a professional. I love the final result. It has given me a new confidence and better smile! Thank you Dr. Shahnam!

I received very professional dental care from Dr.Shahnam since he has taken over the dental practice in Carmel Valley. I have had excellent preventative care, cap,and filling replacements with great results. I would highly recommend him and also feel Maribel is an outstanding hygienist.

I have been going to this dentist office since 1978 when Dr. Von Berg owned it. It was later sold to his Son-in-Law, Dr. Steve Austin, who subsequently sold it to Dr. Shahnam. I have received excellent care throughout the years and highly recommend Dr. Shahnam and his professional and friendly staff. I especially like the first rate cleanings by Dental Hygienist Maribel.

I went in today for a cavity filling and Dr. Shahnam was amazing! I would highly recommend. I was super nervous and the staff here reassured me and were even able to squeeze in a last minute fix on my chipped tooth which looks amazing now!
