my experience with dr. hall was unprofessional and harmful... at times i have to deal with an unrelenting stream of anxiety that can turn into a panic attack... on this particular night my mind started to race and i could tell i was in for it so i went to the nearest emergency room just in case it got worse... in the ER parking lot i called dr. hall and when he came on the line i speedily gave him every detail abouit what was going on wanting out of this nightmare... i asked for a benzodiazepine knowing relief would only be minutes away once ingested but he said "no" and then followed with "just take two or three more seroquel" the problem with that was i had already taken a few more seroquel beyond my regular dosage, but he insisted that i still take two or three more... i was not in search of a months worth of a benzos juat one or two tablets and that's it but he said "no"... to add insult to injury while he was on the phone with me his young son was innocently enough asking questions about what dad was doing to which dr.hall replied "daddy's talking with a patient right now who's not having a good night"... despite the fact that i was hyperventalating and felt like i couldn't breathe the conversation with his son continued...
after the phone call i remained in my parking spot at the ER for another five hours in case i found myself unable to cope while waiting for this panick attack to run it's course.
dr. hall was aloof and disconnected to my struggle, it's as though he on some level enjoyed the power of being able to help me but opting not to
while seeking treatment elsewhere i found myself under the care of Dr. Trenton Moyer... apparently dr.moyer and dr.hall went to medical school at the same time ... i told dr. moyer about this particular experience and then he asked me who the doctor was and i told him dr. hall and dr. moyer said he was very surprised he chose to care for me that way
i was going too write a far more detailed account of how dr. hall treated me and how deceptive and rude his staff to the Psychiatric board of CA. but i decided not to, and his being a diplomat on the board had nothing to do with my decision not to, in fact it was only more motivating if anything.
this is just an account of what took place between dr. hall and i... and i think dr. hall needs to shed his prima donna like attitude. thanks
