My heart is with all the medical staff at Dr. Avakian's office due to the Eaton Fire. I haven't heard anything about the office, but I fear the worst.

Dr Avakian has been fantastic. He is very responsive to his patients needs, flexible when necessary in schedule and thoughtful. I wish all doctors were this way. Do not be discouraged by the front office. If you feel like you're not getting anywhere, ask to talk with him. He's great.

As a retired nurse I know that when one has foot pain, one sees a podiatrist. I have a new provider and I was referred to Dr Avakian for pain in my foot. I did not know him so I was a little hesitant, but within 20 seconds of the initial examination, Dr Avakian diagnosed my foot pain as coming from neuropathy in my back. He put on a strap that helped with the pain and in subsequent visits told me how to manage arthritis pain. He is knowledgeable, he cares about his patients and I am no longer hesitant. The office staff is pleasant. The office space is small but most importantly the exam rooms have plenty of room and they are clean. Dr Avakian is my new podiatrist.

Amazing staff and Dr. His demeanor set me at ease with a very painful ingrown toenail. I was nervous and he made me relax with his style of care. My partial nail avulsion was painless and quick. I highly recommend him!

He’s a fantastic podiatrist, and I can’t praise him and his staff enough. I had no issues making an appointment and getting the treatment I needed to deal with the pain. He is very knowledgeable and provided an in depth explanation of what would be the best course of action to get me back on my feet.

I finally found a Dr. that truly listens to you and cares. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. It was my first time at the Doctors care and it was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. The Doctor himself and all the employees made me feel that I was in safe hands. While spearfishing for baracuda off of Catalina island I got stung by a stingray. The spur went into my heel and it broke. Could not get it out by myself so I finally found someone that could really listen and not think that I’m crazy .His professionalism and his experience was out of this world . After extracting the spur out of my foot within a week the swelling went down and I was normal again. I could not thank him enough and will recommend him highly to anybody that has any kind of a problem with the foot.
