The wait time is ridiculously long. It took about 8 months to get started with an evaluation. I waited because my son’s pediatrician highly recommend him. Then it took about 6 months to get the RESULTS. Dr Mancillas meets with you only twice for the initial contact then to give you the results. All the testing is done by his workers. At this point I don’t even know if they are lincense or being supervised by him

Read the other reviews regarding the wait times for diagnosis. I don’t believe this was the case a couple of years ago so something must have changed. This office should tell you BEFORE you start the process how long it will take to get results. 12-16 weeks is the current wait time AFTER the testing process is finished.

I should have read the reviews. I got my daughter evaluated there in January 2024 & I was told she would need atleast 5 sessions to diagnose her. After the 2nd session they said she will no longer need anymore sessions. They had enough information. It will take up to 12 weeks to write the report/diagnosis. I called them in April/May 2024 to see how everything was going. They still needed time.
It is now August 2024 & I have not received anything from them. I called them today & the lady who answered said "that's weird because we usually need 5 sessions with children" & she took my number & said she'll call me back. I am so frustrated & upset. I just want to get my daughter help & I wasted months waiting for them to do their jobs SMH. Worst communication.

The staff are all so nice, but it doesn’t make up for my suffering, as without results I’m unable to get the help and support I need. I completed my testing in 4 weeks. My results (I’m only told AFTER I pay them and complete the testing) will take 3-4 MONTHS. Not weeks, MONTHS. I’m desperate for any communication from the doctor at this point, as leaving 3 “urgent messages” don’t seem to warrant his response.

Absolutely awesome place, I don't understand the very low review rating! Paul Mancillas is a very thoughtful and quirky guy that doesn't make you feel pressured like nearly all other mental health professionals I've met. I got to do a few questionnaires to be thorough, and he explained and walked through every one of them with me! Also had mental assessments while there and all the staff were very courteous and caring! I did have one woman that felt as if she was very impatient and/or bothered by me being confused or unsure about certain tasks that rubbed me the wrong way. Must be because they potentially have more tests to do and someone being hesitant slows it down? I'm not sure. All I know is I'm not choosing to let that affect my review as that was a very small part of an otherwise great place. Plus, it needs higher ratings! Very sad to not get to have this place to look forward to going to every other week as it was extremely great and welcoming!

Dr Paul Mancillas is a great doctor. He listened to all my concerns and they scheduled my child's testing in a timely manner. Office staff was kind and caring. Appointments were always on schedule and our experience was good. When the results were ready Dr. Mancillas took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. He was very helpful. The only complaint I have is that the report did take a while to be completed, but other than that I am very happy with his staff and his work. It takes a village and I am glad we have Dr Mancillas on our team. Thank you Dr. Mancillas.

First time experience I had with Dr. Mancillas's office. As a parent locked btwn in need of a professional help for my son, I was referred to see this Dr. Right of the table before I even met the Dr. I got the call they asking for a $1000.00 deductible to be paid upfront. I have a BS PPO was taken by surprise. So I called my ins and was told nope I don't have to pay anything. I did a 3 way with the drs office so we can all clear any miscommunication and get along with the services we need. A low slimming dirty hag called Denise.... supposedly doesn't have phone manners, customer service experience and bitter From the inside won't allow the insurance or I to speak. She kept cutting me off. She stated " this is the last time I am saying this and won't repeat it again..." I was shocked. I thought I would call and get the help I need but little did I know I will be dealing with some staffs who needed to clorox their breath. It is of great concern that if this dr. and staff continue acting this way, alot of innocent children's lives will be thrown into perpetual damage. Think twice before you deal with this dr and his staff. There are better, more trustworthy, polite and well mannered drs around. This one here is a scam, Denise is a waste of sperm whose mama should have flushed her in the toilet. She doesn't deserve to be employed esp. In such an area of practice. God bless....
