If you have a fear of the dentist, don't come here! He started working on my daughter and told her if she felt pain, to raise her arm. During the procedure she had pain and raised her arm continually and he kept pushing her hand back down, ignoring her. He proceeded to tell her if she doesn't calm down by the time he counts to 10, he will stop working on her. She has terrible anxiety and was trying to tell him something and he completely ignored her. He insisted she was all the way numb and could not feel anything and wanted to prove it by cutting into her gums until it bled! I was horrified. I could go on, but I won't.
The only good review I can give is the staff was very kind to calm my daughter down.

Dr. Marteny hasn't actually done any work on my teeth yet (that's why only 4 stars today 🙂 ), but I did have a very positive experience this morning. His staff were all nice, friendly and professional. He is a very down-to-Earth, funny and friendly guy! He knew his stuff and gave me the referral I needed for more in-depth work that is required on one of my molars but I will definitely be going back for teeth cleanings and maintenance!

He was started judging my goth daughter right away, after knowing me for years (worked in the same building). Very judgemental, made her extremely uncomfortable, gave her a fear of the dentist, then right after I lost my job knowing I was paying her bills, right after she turned 18, he sent her to collections. Just had no heart, no caring. If he didn't want to work on her teeth he could have told me. So glad I used to bring in all his dental stuff that got delivered when the mail man left it after hours.... Oh and he was way too concerned flirting with his hygienist before getting started. Horrible

I went to visit Dr. Marteney because my wife and her family have been going to see him for years. Today I took my kids for their first check up and we had mentioned that one of them had some special needs. As my son was crying outside he came out and stated "if he can't sit still alone he can't be seen here." He had no compassion or professionalism. In a nutshell he was heartless. I will never come back and he will never get a referral from me or any one in my family including his previous long standing patients.

Again, I found myself in toothache pain and called first thing Monday morning during the covid lockdown. I was served immediately and will get this taken care of right away.
Additionally, I was originally referred to Dr. Marteney by my previous long-time dentist who was retiring. This was so many years ago...15 or 20. I have since moved and still drive almost 2 hours to see him. It is a no frills office and just gets to the "root" of the matter!
Unfortunately for me, heredity has left me with ongoing teeth issues...so I have had countless visits to keep my teeth in their best working order. I have always appreciated the personal and caring service.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office. Dr Marteney is the rudest most unprofessional Dentist I have ever encountered. Never will I or should anyone reading this post ever go there. I never leave reviews but I left his office wanting to fight and felt I needed to save everyone else from that experience.

Terrible terrible terrible!! First, they make you do just an exam appointment...waste of time. Then they find a bunch of things wrong, and Lupe the hygienist bragged about getting an hour per patient for cleaning and then spent 10 whole minutes cleaning my teeth!! Didnt even scale them!!! Insane I have never seen less than 45mins for a cleaning! I went to another dentist, my teeth have No cavities not the 6 he was claiming...offices like these deserve to go out of business...scams to charge your insurance!! This office is also very dirty and old!! I will not be going back.

Dr. Marteney is the best! I do not like needles but he always makes sure that I’m comfortable and makes everything painless. He is sympathetic and understanding and I trust him completely.
