Just saw Dr. Sung today and the is the first time, in a long time that I feel I had a competent, professional exam. I have had pain in my foot for over two years and it was my fault for thinking it would get better over time. Within 30 seconds he diagnosed me with Morton’s Neuroma and gave me an injection to calm the nerve. I’m not sure about the outcome, but I feel confident that my road to eliminating the pain will be much better under his care. He takes time to answer questions and really care. I should have seen him sooner!

Dr. Sung's expertise is truly remarkable, and I'm grateful for his gentle treatment of my daughter's wart. During the same visit, he also skillfully addressed a minor issue with my foot, effortlessly removing a foot pimple. Dr Sung was my doctor right from the time I was admitted to USC Arcadia hospital for a fractured toe. He did my surgery and everything went great. It's been about 6 months since my accident and I still go into the office for routine monthly visits. My toe is healing great and healing faster then expected. I contribute my speedy recovery to all the tips and advice Dr Sung has provided throughout the recovery. The office staff is great, never rude like a lot of other doctor offices I visit. It's fairly easy to get appointment times which is a big deal. Overall, no complaints and I look forward to running again in the near future.

Do not go to this doctor! I called before I made an appointment to make sure they took my insurance. They claimed they did, then months later billed me for nearly $800.

I came here due to foot and ankle pain I was experiencing after standing for an extended period of time. Initially the doctor seemed really friendly, warm, and genuinely concerned. He assessed my feet and determined that foam inserts would help increase my arch and prevent my bunions from progressing. He made it sound like a really laid back thing, took some quick imprints of my feet, and said that the office would call me when the inserts arrived for him to fit them into my shoes. Whole appointment probably took 7-8 mins total. I came to the front desk and the receptionist said I owed $65 for the custom inserts to get produced and that my insurance should cover one yearly set of these inserts... I said ok cool, paid it there with no issue.

Once said inserts were ready a couple weeks later I come back in for Dr. Sung to fit them. He is noticeable less friendly than the first appointment. Eh, I'm sure he's just busy so I don't think much of it. He quickly takes the inserts out of their box, cuts some excess foam around the edges, slides them into my shoes. Tells me to put them on and stand up to see if they fit. My shoes felt tighter and less comfortable than without the inserts but he says it's normal and I'll adjust to it. He says he's done so I leave the office, and the whole appointment was 5 mins tops.

Fast forward about 9 months later, I receive a bill from their office for a whopping $775. I call the office thinking there must be a mistake on their end with billing. The receptionist who I spoke to was rude, defensive and condescending. I tell her surely I'm not being charged nearly $800 for someone to slide some foam into my shoes. That's what some people pay for an actual in-office procedure. She tells me that is the typical rate of any doctor in the field. I tell her that had I known they were going to bill me for this amount I would not have gone through with ordering the inserts and that I was told I was only responsible for $65. She responds that I misheard that information or made it up... Horrible experience and whole practice feels predatory. Stay away!

I just returned home from seeing Dr. Sung for a foot problem. Excellent care hands down. The receptionist was both efficient and friendly, keeping me informed while in the waiting room.
Dr. Sung is exactly what I wanted in a health care practitioner. He is very knowledgeable and certainly appears to enjoy educating his patients. He was able to make the diagnosis of my issue and provide immediate treatment. He has a soothing demeanor and you do not feel rushed at all. He encouraged me to email with any questions and stated emails would be answered within 24 hours (except on weekend). It is obvious that excellent patient care is a priority to Dr. Sung. If you need a podiatrist, take it from this nurse of 40+ years - Dr. Sung is the best.

I saw Dr Sung for a bone spur in my heel. Amy was very nice to get me in right away and they took X-rays of my foot. He gave me an injection and it feels so much better. I was super scared of the injection but it actually didn’t hurt! Now I’m walking again, no problem.
