I am so impressed with the level of care I have received here at every step of the way, from caring, cheerful and professional people. The number of calls, texts, tests, meetings and classes both pre and post op gave me me real confidence that my surgery would be successful.

I had both total knee replacements at DOC with Dr. Boghosian. I'm 49, and have suffered bone on bone contact in my knees for 6 years. I appreciated Dr. Bodhosian and his staff, who answered all my questions. I had not been under the knife for 30 years so I was nervous. Eisenhower nursing staff was great during both procedures and I felt reassured and taken care of. I was confused by their two bills, and one of them did not allow online payment. I drove over an hour for all my appointments and I don't recall having to wait much at all. I felt seen promptly, questions answered, and generally had all my concerns addressed. TKR (total knee replacement) is an intense surgery, and having a great team and doc looking after me helped me through it all. I also liked the dad jokes in the operating room (before I went into deep slumber). I've been able to regain a lot of my mobility pain free, and I look forward to many more adventures.

I would give Eisenhower orthopedic 10 stars if they were available. My doctor was Doctor Boghosian From the moment I met him in his office till the time that we had the surgery, which was about two months later I was well taken care of. He ordered physical therapy before the surgery so I would be in good shape. when I first met him, I had to use a walker because it was so difficult to walk. All the appointments were made for me by a member of his team. I had a total hip replacement and he was able to lengthen my leg to be the same length as the other. My surgery was April 13. And I’m now playing golf and walking 4 miles a day .The surgery staff was outstanding when I had to go to the appointment at his office they were on time. The staff was very respectful. Thank you very much for taking such good care of me.

Very disturbed by how we have been treated by this doctors office, from incompetence, to just flat out ignoring you, last year I fell and injuired my knee, had surgery to fix knee.. in April will be one year since the injury and I sit here still in pain. The staff and doctors have no care for the patients, from waiting over a month to get appointments, to doctors just ignoring you. To trying to schedule a follow up appointment for the knee injury and being told you need another referral… very disturbed by them, never have we ever been treated like this…

Eisenhower orthopedics is one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. No basic information given while waiting over a month to be seen for an acute injury. Went to San Diego to be seen sooner and a lot better. Tried to get PT in the desert after getting a referral. One office at Eisenhower didn’t communicate with the other so now I’m stuck waiting extra weeks for a PT appointment. This is all after the only doctor who would give me any info about how to avoid further injury and improper healing while waiting weeks for an initial ortho consult (my primary care doc) told me all the wrong things to do. Plus Eisenhower imaging misinterpreted my MRI (I learned that in San Diego). Maybe the doc thought he was looking at my right leg instead of left? Avoid ortho in the desert unless you are super rich and can fly in your own private doc, or have political pull and can see a decent provider. Otherwise, do whatever it takes to avoid “treatment” at Eisenhower.

Beware of wait times for appointments. You literally can not have any plans for the rest of the day after your appointment time because you will most likely wait an hour. Also, they tell you to get there 20 minutes EARLY....DO NOT do this or your time will be wasted even more. And don’t think if you make an appointment with his PA’s it will help. It’s almost worse. Total disregard for their patient’s time.
I had an excellent TKR by Schnaser and have been doing well with the recovery process and physical therapy. But today after getting to my appoint my appointment 10 minutes early and waiting a total of 40 minutes without any indication from staff on when Say Thao his PA might make the appointment I had to leave due to other obligations. Also, the rudeness of not one staff person apologizing or attempting to provide information on how much longer I might have to wait was so infuriating I ended up cancelling my physical therapy appointment that was 1 hour after my appointment.
This is very upsetting as the surgery went well, I was recovering well and now I’m at a loss of what to do next. I can’t continue to make appointments with a practice that has no regard for my time which results in waiting over an hour for a ten minute appointment. I am unable to complete my recovery process.
Good surgeon with terrible support staff or procedures for ensuring patient’s do not wait an excessive amount of time for their appointments. Not everyone in the desert is retired and has time to wait like you expect your patients to do.

We were told to be there at 7:10 am for a 7:30 appt. Xrays were taken quickly then we were placed in a room for about an hour waiting to see the PA. We were not told we wouldn't see the doctor. Not a good 1st impression.

Dr. Cassim is a nice guy, but this office is seriously so unprofessional it's actually not funny. In fact, I thought about taking this a step further with Eisenhower, and I still might do that. First follow up visit is with the PA who literally could not spend more than 3 minutes with me. Looked irritated when I asked a question. Prescribed medication with no explanation and then out the door. Then I discussed his behavior with the "office manager" with no reply back. I own a business. Someone complains to this level, I call them back as the owner. Next visit after my next cortisone shot. The nurse practitioner (I would not see the PA again), is like a used car salesman. Nice used car salesman, but still a salesperson. Selling me other shots. When I mention that I worry about osteoporosis (which I read is an issue with all of these shots) her answer: You can worry about that 10 years from now. I kid you not. The biggest insult to injury is that she wrote the wrong prescription for me. A way higher dose (3x the amount) that it was supposed to be. Thankfully I read. There's literally no excuse for all of this. Stay away from this office. It's a factory. And, they don't have good follow-up care. And, ATT EISENHOWER: you should pay attention to this message.
