I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan at this location for at least 10 years, he is great, cares about your health and wellbeing and will always take the time to answer your questions. I have seen Dr. Lesieur too and she was really good too. The office is clean and the staff are nice. I think this is a really good place for top notch medical care in the east bay.

This practice refused to abide by ADA laws. I am deaf and asked to schedule appointments either through email or another platform so I did not have to rely on someone else calling for me. The front desk said it must be done through phone call only. The woman at the front desk went further to explain, “any patient we have that doesn’t speak English just has to have a family member that does call and speak for them.”

To me it’s very important to have a doctor who I can trust and approach without hesitation. I moved to Clayton neighbourhood over 2 years ago and picked this clinic as it’s close and accepted my insurance. There was only one female doctor at that time but she left during the pandemic and I was assigned PA Jennifer later. I am greatly disappointed as how the clinic forced me to make an appointment for something that could have been resolved over the phone. I had to get a preventive test ordered and kept calling them for 3 days without a response. I had a Gastro appointment through my insurance later (I did not need a referral) that month and wanted to get the tests done before that. On day 3, I called the front desk and expressed the urgency but the lady at front desk forced me to make an appointment. It turns out Jennifer could not order me the test, and wanted me to meet the GI specialist. I explained her how it was wrong of them to force me to make an appointment when I already had a GI appointment and she could’ve responded to my phone calls to tell me that she could not order the test. The front desk had told her as well so it seemed unethical of them to make me pay for an unwanted virtual visit. She dismissed my concerns over the virtual appointment and told me that she would let the manager know. I was hoping they will not bill me for this visit to correct their mistake.
I got the bill yesterday and hence I went forward with this review. Honesty and ethics are very important to me. It was absolutely wrong to force a patient to visit, invest time and money just to make notes without actually rendering any service. I will be removing this clinic as my primary care providers and will not recommend anyone to use their services.

They are a holistic, patient-centered group. The staff nurse leaves me very kind follow-up messages for my tests, mamogram results, etc. I have been seeing Heather L PA for many years, as she is very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. My entire family is cared for by this team of wonderful people. I'm a retired healthcare exec, and can't recommend this practice more highly.

Patient and understanding caregivers in a good practice near my house. I like the fact that I can always get an appointment when I need one and that they are efficient and listen to what I have to say. I'm a retired paramedic so I know how doctors can be. If you need just a general practitioner, you can definitely do a lot worse than these folks.

I used to like this office, they had great doctors and service. I’m not happy with the service now.

I have not been able to schedule an appointment same day like I used to and get told to go to urgent care every time. They dont seem to be well staffed. Also I have been trying to resolve an issue with a bill prior to the changeover and no one will call back!!
