Mother was brought here from a neighboring nursing home in terrible shape. Hospice care was discussed. The whole staff were
excellent and Dr. Slaughter and staff were kind, attentive and compassionate. Nurse Nichelle was especially kind and attentive to my mother. Rooms and hospital areas always clean.
A great hospital in my opinion. The whole family is very grateful.

I broke my ankle on Christmas Day. Evans Memorial ER staff took great care of me. Dr. David Brantley over saw my care, even going the extra step of contacting my orthopedic group's on-call doctor to facilitate a quick follow-up. Because he made that effort, I had an appointment the next day and was scheduled for surgery the day after. I made the surgery schedule because Dr. Brantley sent my x-rays to the on-call doctor Christmas night. My ankle was put in a splint which kept me comfortable until surgery two days later. Several emergencies were in process during my time in the ER and each was handled with compassion and expertise. Thank you Evans Memorial ER!

I initially approached this hospital with skepticism, having relocated from a large city such as Dallas, Texas. However, upon entering the facility, I was impressed by its exceptional cleanliness and the warmth of the staff, which I found to be unparalleled in the surrounding area. Having visited hospitals in Liberty, Savannah, and Jesup, I can confidently assert that this establishment is the finest among them. I underwent a minor procedure, and the entire staff ensured that the experience was seamless; I felt as though I were the sole patient, despite the reality of not being so. They efficiently guided me through each step of the process, providing thorough explanations throughout my visit.

I took my 3 year old to the Evans Memorial ER last week due to a stick being stuck in his foot, and after urgent care recommended the ER. Every person we encountered was SO friendly and accommodating. The doctor didn’t beat around to bush on what needed to be done - surgery. He immediately called in the surgeon and made arrangements with respiratory. Male nurses got IV in without tears. Dr Spahos did an amazing job on his foot and gave great instructions. Great bedside manner. Nurses were beyond helpful. I cannot remember the attending physicians name but he was FANTASTIC too. From time we got there, to leaving after waking up from surgery was about 5-6 hours. Facility was so clean. We are so appreciative to this small town hospital!

I was running a fever sick as heck in a lot of pain and I couldn’t even get into the back…kept calling people who came in after me I sat for hours to find out I was seriously in need of fluids and had something contagious….if I was able and always if can never come here for help ever…

You know hospitals are supposed to be places of emergency medical care here is my honest opinion when it takes 4 and 1/2 to 5 hours for one person to be seen one patient you either have a staffing problem or a work ethic problem now in either case choose another location this hospital's trash and I really don't care receptionist has attitudes and I'm just thankful that basically we had the time to wait but in some cases you don't that small town backwoods type thing exist here so if they know you you will be socially profiled and I stand by this comment but it reflects most places any small towns but health Care should not be administered this way tighten up

Husband had signs of a heart attack and terrible blood pressure and they just told him to go door on waiting room. If anyone had actually looked at him they would have noticed he looked like death. But they barely acknowledged him in check in and while taking his vitals. This place is a joke.
