This was my 4th time in the last decade that I decided to start therapy. Having been through 3 rounds that I felt wasn't addressing my issues in a way to keep me motivated to stay in, I wasn't exactly optimistic but took a friend's recommendation that this team is different. Especially for LGBT community. Different it was and it continues to be. Expansive Therapy exceeded my expectations. I was surprised how quickly my therapist identified trends in my behaviour and gave me hope that this could have a tangible impact on my life . It is also very reasonably priced. Excited to continue, unlike my previous experiences, for a long time to come.

If you have PPO insurance or looking for reasonably priced therapy, you're not going to find a better match in SF than Expansive Therapy. Great approach to therapy, great vibe in the office, good support staff. Definitely the best mental health experience I've had.

Services are good, but not great. They have outrageous late fees even if you cancel within 24 hours (48 hours required). I switched to Better Help and found it’s a better service at a better value.

Megan is a true gem of a therapist. She is very real and down to earth. Patient, warm and compassionate, while also unafraid to provide a little push at times which I really appreciate in a therapist. Her intuition and insight are really on point. I definitely recommend her highly.

Love this practice, great therapy that is very LGBTQ affirming. If you have PPO insurance, this is the place to go in SF... They make the whole insurance process easy and manageable, I would highly recommend them.
