3 months ago showed up for cleaning, no one was there to do the work. they rescheduled me for today. they then said I need a deep cleaning at $400+ I asked just do a regular cleaning and they said NO. i called the insurance company and they said my co pay should be $45 once every 6 months. Why $400

I have been waiting on a surgeon for a broken tooth since October-November. I keep calling and and leaving messages with no call backs. I walked in and was told that they don’t have a schedule for December and January. Again I call numerous times with no call backs. By then my tooth has abscessed and got infected. I had to call my doctor because I could never reach anybody. In march I finally received a call back and was able to make an appointment for the first part of April. In the phone conversation I clearly stated and ensured that this was for the surgeon and I was to be put to sleep. When my appointment arrived, I checked in with a driver (both of us had to use our leave from work). When I checked in, again I verified that I was seeing the surgeon and was going to be put to sleep. The clerk said only if you haven’t eaten in 12 hours or more and have a driver, which I confirmed I didn’t (side-note) no one told me to do this, luckily I knew from past surgeries. I waited an hour after my appointment before being brought to the back and got X-rays taken. After they sat me at a chair, I waited 30 more minutes. A nurse or assistant comes to me saying that my tooth is infected and will need me to be put to sleep. I responded that is what my appointment is here for now. She responded that she has no one here that can do this work and will have to be rescheduled. I told her the story as I stated here, and she said she recommended some places to go in Bakersfield. They sent me to the front office again to schedule an appointment with another place in Bakersfield that wasn’t even covered by my insurance company. I told the lady I’m done with this business and want my referral and X-rays.

I am seeing another dentist and will never come back. Additionally, I am reaching out to my insurance company to let them know the issue and recommend not allowing to be charged.

The way I was treated felt like I was a number like cattle and they didn’t care what was happening to me.

Was greeted by front staff with friendly smile and kind words. Waited for my appointment for approximately 15 minutes then waited for another 20- 25 minutes for the dentist.

It's always a great experience here at gental dental in tehachapi with Dr Solomon and staff. Very gental, very honest. I feel so lucky to have them in my life and mouth.

The Tehachapi office is very unorganized, not consistent with anything and not very responsive about returning phone calls. I will no longer go to the Tehachapi office. I will just make the drive to Bakersfield.

I had an extraction done today by an oral surgeon. I have been to several dentists and this was by far the gentlest and most pain-free Dentist I have had. He did a great job! Explained everything so well also!
