EXPERIENCED Dentist. I appreciate this dentist and will drive the 30+ miles to take my kids for an appointment here as opposed to other places.
I was once told my kids needed a lot of dental work, I was skeptical so I made and appointment here for a second opinion (was told he’s the most honest dentist around). The staff was caring and attentive to my daughter and stayed with her and I the whole time answering questions.
dr Wilson told me he did not find the same problems my previous dentist said my children had and we could avoid doing the massive & expensive work they said we needed before! I am SO grateful I came here for a second opinion! Thank you

I love this dentist. My son always been scared of dentists but Dr. Wilson has a way that calms him. And my daughter enjoys her visits. Let me advice you schedule your appointment with enough time to get options because he is really busy.

Was referred to this dentist by a family member so was willing to wait the 2 months it took to for my children's appointment. It was to be my 1 yo daughters first dentist appointment as well as my 5yo. We arrived at 8:30 for there 9o'clock appointment. We waited for 2 hours at qich time my baby was very fussy and impatient. There were 12 other children waiting to be seen as well by only 1 dentist. I approached the receptionist to ask about the delay and was told if I wanted to reschedule. No communication as to why the delay or apology. I told her no thank you that I couldn't spend hours each time my child has a dentist appointment and she simply said okay, turned her chair and proceeded to speak to another employee. I understand things happen to cause excessive wait times occasionally but this was excessive with no attempt to make the customer feel valued. I am disappointed because I was looking forward to finding a pediatric dentist for my children.

Don't bother looking anywhere else, this guy is the best in Porterville and surrounding area by far! Believe me, I have done my research. Best quality dental work I've seen and his calm decorum puts my kids at ease every time. Highly recommend!

Hated this place. Dentist was yelling at my son and me. I asked if he was going to put him to sleep and dentist said no that they don't do this. I told him I was going to call my husband to ask him and he stated to go to a little room to call because he was not going to wasted his time on me. I refuse the service. I will never go back never. The WORSE DENTIST in the world. Don't go there. Kids are screaming and you can hear them while you wait in the waiting room. All staff don't have a good attitude.

Dr Wilson is the most caring and affordable pediatric dentist in The Valley. Literally a diamond among the many dentists treating medi cal families. He actually cares about his patients and does wonderful work.

I was referred by a few friends. Never actually maid it into the back to see doctor. I have no opinion on how he is as a dentist! The staff was terrible enough to never go back there. After 3 rescheduled appointment, 15+ phone calls back and forth, toltal disregard of human kindness! After forms were already completed with the proper information it still wasn’t enough. When asked for there policy’s they were not able to provide. There is a big chance the Dentist in this office is wonderful, but the staff was horrible, rude, and unwilling to help! If there was a 0-5 stars I would put that! I recommend elsewhere.

I brought my 5 year old son here and the dentist tied my son up because he couldn’t stay still know he’s all scared to even go for a check up.
