On 9/28/21 I went into Evan S. Halpern, DDS office for a specialty consultation to determine if I needed a root canal or not. BE WARN!! THE FRONT OFFICE LACK THE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE TO VERIFY FUNDS WITH PATIENT’S INSURANCE. THEN THEY TURN AROUND AND CHARGE THE PATIENT. I had the front office clerk check with my Insurance if there was enough cash to complete this visit. The office clerk confirmed with me that there was enough money plus 450 dollars left over. Bottom line someone made a mistake and now Halpern’s office wants to charge me a fee that according to his staff it was going to be covered by my insurance. The excuse is that it was a frequency limitation visit issue. In that case it was Harpern’s office personal responsibility to ask my insurance or my regular dentist about the frequency count ahead of time. I have called numerous times to speak to a manager to resolve this matter and I get the same story the manager is not available. I’m very frustrated with Halpern’s staff. I DONT RECOMMEND EVAN S. HALPERN’S DENTAL SERVICES.

Great experience and not many people say that about root canals. Dr. Halpern is very professional and kind. He did an excellent job of numbing me when other dentists said it couldn't be done. The staff are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this office.

I went to Dr. Halpern's office as a referral from Talent Dental in Rancho Cucamonga for a root canal since his office specializes in root canals. Dr. Shbeeb and his assistant Sandra were awesome. Comforting, professional and highly concerned about my well-being. I noticed they don't have many reviews. Don't be scared away. Go there. You'll be happy you did.

I visited this place for a consultation, and they gave me little to no useful information and no options that would benefit me.
They charge a higher fee if you have no insurance too.
I would not recommend anyone to visit this place for a consultation.

Dr. Halpern has Excellent bedside manners, very engaging and friendly, listens to his patients. Good job
