I am not here to write glowing review about Dr. Hatt sadly. I'm not even sure if she is relying on here staff to handle this major issue properly or is of the same mind set as them. I had my #30 infected dental implant removed and area cleaned by Dr. Hatt herself, and unfortunately, it has been a disaster so far. Had my removal and bone graph filling done in Jan 2024. To this day, I still do not have a good surface to support a new implant that will last this time. My stitching came off that same evening post surgery. I called them immediately the following morning expressing serious concern that the stitching had opened and that a large portion of the bone graph material was being lost before it hardened. The office, like many medical offices that simply don't care for their fellow human beings these days, wanted to kick the can down the road and refused to see me the following day post surgery. They said just to come in for the planned 2-week post surgery visit follow up.... I protested of course, but they did not relent, to their own detriment I might add. Here it is Oct 2024, and sad to report that the lost bone graph material from the broken stitches was enough to cause issues to installing a new implant now. The surface is not even, and has not built up sufficiently to support a viable implant. I am told that a surgeon should go back in and add additional bone graph to #30 tooth before installing implant.

That is not even the worse thing that happened if you can believe it. So to justify their obvious malpractice, they called my regular dental office to try and dig up dental and hygiene dirt on me to stave off my claim that they owed me a proper dental service and a redo of my #30 tooth bone graph! So instead of taking care of me through a minimal invasive procedure, they elected to pick a fight with me.... no light on, no one home! They without question violated my patient privacy rights and spoke to my regular dental office without a signed consent to gather such information. The receptionist was on speaker phone in my car with my dental hygienic girlfriend confessing to violating my privacy rights. If I was presiding over this case, I would suspend this Oral surgeon's medical license until the office devised a better customer care and privacy plan.

I have seen Dr. hat for a few extractions, and she is by far the best oral surgeon I have ever been to. I feel comfortable with her. She does a great job even though I have some medication management issues she has no problem with sedation and figuring all that out. Her staff is very friendly. Her office is very clean and professional. She has all the good tools. I recommend Dr. hat to anyone who needs oral surgery of any kind.
