Dr. Nakai is fine and Dr. Maud is great, but the office staff here is either incompetent, careless, or straight up sadistic. I was seeing these doctors for months, and when I lost my insurance, I wanted to continue paying out of pocket in order to continue receiving their care! I hadn't experienced any real issues with this office up to this point. I called a few times within a week to inquire about cash prices, and was repeatedly told that they would "figure it out and get back to [me]." Another week went by, and I still heard nothing from them. I called again and told them that I was nearly out of my medications and that I really needed to talk to a doctor or at the very least, get another refill. Ignored again. They let me run out of my medication. They started ignoring my calls at a certain point, and the last voicemail I left was to let them know that I was out of medication and would have to find someone else for immediate care, but would still like to hear back from them. I NEVER heard anything back.. Nobody was able to pick up the slack over the course of several weeks. The whole office should be re-staffed. My situation ended just fine (no thanks to Interim), but considering this is a psychiatric care facility, this kind of carelessness was can be detrimental to other patients with more severe conditions.

Dr. Nakai is great. I’ve been seeing him for over 10 years and he treats me with respect. He takes time to listen. He treats you with medication and makes sure it works for you. If you need help he is the one to go see
