Huge thanks and appreciation to the doctors, staff, and assistants who were always very attentive, kind, considerate and efficient in their work. I had a great experience with Dr. Alex Sy and the entire team. He is truly knowledgeable and caring. I had braces as a kid (with a different orthodontist) but did not stay on top of it growing up and finally decided to see an orthodontist. Dr. Sy clearly explained the differences between braces and aligners and what would work best for my lifestyle. The assistants were all very friendly and greeted me with smiles every month. It’s been almost a year since finishing treatment and I’m still loving the results. I only wish I’d gone to see Dr. Sy and the team sooner!

Great place to go to if you need to get braces. I’ve had a few different orthodontist doing braces and Dr. Sy did the best job, very professional. I left in the middle of my treatment from another dental office and came to Dr. Sy. Dr. Sy is very caring and the best doctor ever. The assistants and all other staff are very nice as well. I have recommended a few friends here too, so definitely recommended!

Recently paid Dr. Sy a visit to readjust my retainers since getting my braces off in 2015. Dr James Sy and his son Dr Alexander Sy took care of me with the upmost professionalism since I last visited years ago. I had my treatment with Jame Sy when I was young. I didn’t wear the retainer so my teeth shift a little bit, so I went back to him 20+ years later. The dude told me 1 year, but he messed up my bite VERY bad, and was not capable of fixing until almost 2 years.

Just in the beginning (2 weeks) of wearing traditional braces for a second time, one attachment fell off. I was put on a chair and told that he is putting back the attachment. Instead, UNEXPECTEDLY, He filed/and grind down my teeth front teeth like a mad man without mentioning a single word. Those are the teeth I loved. Do you know those two cute front rabbit teeth my Mom gave me? They are now just in my memory.

I was shaken and asked him in shock, and he answered in a weird tone that he did so to beautify me. When I told him I had never wanted him to grind my teeth, he was angry and threatened me that I was making him to be not nice to me and do less for me. He said: “I will finish fast and you will be out of here.” Those are his exact words he said to me. This dentist has serious issues with moral judgment and behavior.

Look how other reviewed him in "not recommended" section on yelp. These women/girls' experience are true. I agreed with what other people mentioned about him , but didn’t expect that I would be assaulted this way.

I visited several dentists and paid over tens of thousands of dollars trying to fix what he did with my bite. I had bone degeneration from teeth grinding resulted from messed up bite. I went to 5 dentists in different specialties, and they all agree my sufferings are from the messed up bite. If you have read a few other people’s post, you will see that messed up bite and jaws also cause troubling sleep patterns. I am suffering the same problem since the incident. I thought my sleep had been bad because of the pain, however I came to realize that my sleep will never be like before.

He also chipped my sister's front teeth by accident years ago. This guy tend to mess up people’s lives. He definitely messed up my life, causing a life long struggle with my health now. You should stay away.
