Dr. Jing-Jing Qian and her staff provides Excellent Dental Service. I am delighted to write this review and share with others. Prior to selecting Dr. Jing-Jing Qian as my dentist two years ago my dental experiences were good to marginal. Since I have been with Dr. Jing-Jing Qian I have experience excellent dental service from Dr. Qian, and her assistant. Also excellent customer service support from her receptionist staff. One of the many things that standout about Dr. Qian is her interest, concern and focus is on the long term quality of both my teeth and gums and her sensitivity toward keeping my cost down while achieving that goal.

I am very pleased that I found Dr. Jing-Jing Qian!

Dr. Qian has been my dentist for 10 years. She is very trustworthy and highly skilled. I had multiple root canal and crowns done in her office with great results and I am very happy about it. The cost is lower than my previous dentist's for similar operations.

Ok, I have to write another review for this notorious dentist who preys on her patients' trust.

After my personal experience of horror: a teeth cleaning, upgraded to filling cavities, then to root canals (done at another dental office because I knew she was not trustworthy). For details, see my previous detailed review.

The reason for this review is because I just came back from a party last night and was told by my friend about his $7,3000 scam by Dr. Qing. He went to visit her for teeth cleaning and was told that he needed 17 cavities filled. Well, not speaking English, he totally trusted her because she is Chinese. The 17 cavities work cost him $5000 out of pocket; then after the cavity work, one of his teeth really hurt, so he had to pay another $2,300 for a tooth canal.

You know what is amazing about this? The entire process is identical as mine and as my mother-law. Sounds and feels like a routine process at Dr. Qing's office: take advantage of her patients, especially the ones who don't speak English.

Jing Jing Qian fixed 10+ cavities on my teeth and the sculptured teeth crown look like the original healthy ones!
After 5 years, the teeth crowns still look great that I don’t recognize which ones are sculptured or original.
Btw the insurance I used is MetLife. The out-of-pocket cost for fixing cavities was very good compare to another dentist my friend visited.

Horrible service.

Originally, my mouth smells good, but after receiving the routine teeth clear, my mouth smells very badly. That is the starting of nightmare. Then, the dentist suggest me to do some filling and told me would let me know the price before the appointment. However, I never received the call from them.

On the appointment date, I came to her office. She said I need to fill 9 teeth. 3 of them are "big teeth". Since "big teeth" filling will not be covered by insurance, she gave me $300 discount. When I received the bill, I found the "big teeth" she referred to are wisdom teeth. Each wisdom tooth filling cost me $259. Typically, dentist will take out the wisdom teeth if they have some problem. Dr. Qian's filling wisdom teeth is really a joke to me. After these filling, some of my teeth be painful off and on. Sometimes, I even cannot use the teeth to eat.

In addition, the dentist estimate my insurance will cover $848, but my insurance paid $961.6 actually. Then, I called them to get the refund of $961.6 - $848 = $113.6. However, she refused and threat will charge me more than I have paid.

If you want to protect your teeth and money, stay away!

Have been going here for years and haven't had any issues with my teeth. I've had several fillings to protect sensitive spots. When I was living elsewhere, I visited another dentist and they had a really hard time finding the fillings because they were so well-matched to my actual teeth. Only good experiences here!
