I never got to the doctor. In dealing with two of the woman there, one around 30 yrs old, and one gray haired woman, it was frustrating. After waiting over one hour in the lobby one of the women led me to examination room. She had a bad attitude when asking questions and was incapable of listening. She kept asking same question 3 times . My tone became a little irritated. I tried to make things right by advising her I was in so much pain from neck, back, Fibromyalgia, and my foot (reason for being there) so I might be a little off. She ignored me and flatly kept asking the "same" questions. I answered her and she kept talking to me like this wasn't a two way conversation, so I let her know she was being rude.
I said to her that I was trying to let her know how I was doing and she said I am trying to ask you questions for the doctor. No humanity in her. As I am 65 yrs old and handicapped I let her know she could be more kind. I got upset and let her know. She walks out of the room we were in and walks across to the front desk and in full view of me leans close to the older women and begins to whisper in her ear and from the body language I know she is talking about me. She then runs to an area were another female is working and sends her to continue with me. This lady was kind and respectful. We talked about her pit bulls. I gave her all the necessary info.
Since I had been there a while, now almost two hours I asked to use the bathroom. When I was let down the table I asked the older woman (who was the one whispered to) which way was the bathroom, she answered with a tone as if I should know, "it's straight ahead", looking at me with distaste and a disapproving look. Except you can't see it "straight ahead" until you have gone a few more steps down the hall.
I went to the bathroom and as I pondered how rude they were I felt so uncomfortable and then when I came out I advised the older lady I was leaving letting her and the other rude woman know the way I was treated was unacceptable.
Never saw doctor. I saw him walk by and he seems very into what he does. Looks like a good doctor, but I would never go back and be treated so disrespectful and unkind.
