Some people may know that this dental practice was inherited from a beloved dentist who practiced in San Diego for around 40 years, and I was one of their patients for almost all of those years, they were the only dental practice I ever belonged to. Whenever there is a handover in a practice, us long-standing patients can feel anxiety about it, wondering if the experience will be what we loved from the former dentist (high quality work + great experience). I have been one of those strange people who truly doesn’t mind dental procedures as long as the care team is excellent and makes me feel comfortable. It’s been over 18 months now and I’ve been to Kind Dental for numerous cleanings and a crown replacement. During my crown replacement the toughest part was holding back laughter from the conversations and thereby not messing up their work! The staff is warm, welcoming, and as their name accurately states, KIND! Dr Maysam himself is the right level of professional vs casual for me, clearly leaning into humor for those of us who appreciate it, but relying on his expertise first and foremost. He’s also young enough to hopefully be my dentist for the next couple of decades, at least, so I’m looking forward to continued good experiences that leave me with a sore mouth only from smiling so much. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal or family dental practice.
