I had my first appointment here today. It was so wonderful! Nick was nice and so personable. Shimp said my teeth were “impressive” and that’s going to boost me up all day. Then Teresa was the sweetest. Definitely a new favorite person. They came up with such a good plan for my teeth. After 5 years of no dentist… they didn’t make me feel awful but wonderful. Now I’m going home with a clean mouth 🙂

I don’t do reviews but felt compelled to.

2 points :

1/ compared to my previous visit where doc was pushy and signed me up for things I didn’t need and had to pay out of pocket, this time, experience was friendly.

Stephen, evaluated X-rays, gave his honest assessment…no sales pitch to get the extra stuff…and provided worse/best case scenarios of when/if I need extra work (eg for crowns on my front bottom teeth)

Stephen seems an honest guy!

2/ AI is not replacing Teresa!

What a gem of a person and what professional attitude and service. I have probably had 50 odd cleanings in my life and Teresa was so far the best of all.

She went the extra mile.

I was the last slot of the day but she worked on me as if I was the first appointment in the morning.

Pleasing smiling engaged personality.

What energy and what professionalism!

Clean, newer equipment, vibrant and professional staff, top notch dentist performance (had two cavities filled that line up perfectly when closing mouth/teeth, very happy), discount offers for full payment and cash payment & yearly membership program. *Also has a partial lake view from some seats.

I despise the Dentist and going to see one, UNTIL NOW! What a great office and staff, Dr. Shimp is the best dentist I've been too in my 60 yrs! Think I've finally found a home! Love his calmness, and honesty! My last dentist was like a car salesman!

Dr Shrimps office was delightful and my husband and I were very comfortable there and found the dental hygienists to be very good and we will be continuing with this office. The Dr and stafff are excellent and we highly recommend them.

First of all, I'm the biggest chicken on the planet because the dentist I had as a child did NOT use Novocain - not that uncommon in the 1950s and early '60s. I needed a crown replaced and my regular dentist couldn't see me for quite sometime, so I called KBD and they fitted me in promptly. Unfortunately, the day of my procedure the "crown machine" which mills a crown in the office was out of order so Nick put in a temp. The same afternoon, I got a call that the machine was fixed and my crown was ready so I got it put in the very next day. The whole office demonstrates skill, kindness, compassion, and dedication to the patient experience. Thank you Dr. Shimp, Nick, Cynthia, and Karen. You were all so understanding of my dental PTSD and I couldn't be more grateful or recommend this practice more!
